Regan gave him a smile when he said he wouldn't sleep in the tree. The more he slept up there the more of a chance there was that he'd hurt himself, despite him having his monkey tendencies. "Good," she chirped, though when she heard the rest of his plan she kind of just rolled her eyes again. But, whatever. She didn't think damp clothes would be particularly comfortable, and she thought he'd still get ill, but nothing would really change her mind surrounding that. And she knew nothing she said would convince him to stay out the tree. "Fine," she huffed. "But you promise you'll find somewhere warm if you start to get cold? The last thing we need is for you not to start getting sick and weak," she told him quietly with a soft sigh.

"I'm not going to get sick and weak.." Tyler started protesting, stopping with a sigh. "I'll sleep in the cabin." He finally said. It was probably the best decision... Tyler knew and understood he had a tendency to be stubborn about things that were really stupid to be stubborn about... like whether if you stayed in a tree with wet clothes would you get cold. Duh... so he knew Regan was right. Again.

"You would have if you stayed in the tree," she told him with a soft sigh. She thought they were friends, so she was really just trying to look out for him. And she also knew it was difficult to admit when you weren't right, so she didn't want to stay on the subject for too long. "Thank you," she hummed lightly to him before shaking her head. "Then tomorrow night you can sleep in a tree like the monkey you are," she teased lightly.

Tyler sighed. Back on the monkey thing. Again. "Okay okay, well I'd better get out and start drying off then. We will put drip drying to the test.." he murmured, chuckling slightly as he stepped out of the pool and shook his arms. Tyler tried to squeeze what he could of the water out of his hair... unsuccessfully

Regan smiled happily to him when he crawled out the pool, and rang her hair out one more time before hugging out a breath. "I need to get back and help with dinner... though, I'm wanting to get changed first," she mused before trying to wipe the water from her shirt, though not to much avail. "Wanna help? I was thinking of another stew," she chirped. Well, it wasn't like they could make much else anyway... but she was, admittedly, a bit of a foodie. She just seemed to be so happy while she was cooking. She started to wander back anyway.

Tyler cleared his threat. "I'll catch up, go on ahead. Also, yes, I can help make stew." He dipped his head and watched her walk away, then took of his shirt and wrung it as well he could. Tyler started thinking of his dad as the scars on his back sent a quick shot of pain through his back. His DAD had done that... his own dad. And now Aaron was here. Regan nodded and headed off. She wandered into her little shed thing, going through the bag and pulling out a new pair of clothes. She changed quickly, in fear that Lily would come in. They stayed together in the same room, so she should learn to be more comfortable with the other girl... but, really, the other girl wasn't particularly nice to her, and she refused to give her something to poke fun about. But she changed quickly and hung her clothes out to dry before going to help out with dinner. They'd managed to get ahold of some doe... which was more than enough to feed everyone.

Tyler snapped out of his sad thoughts, starting to walk through the trees. He begrudgingly pulled the still wet shirt over his head, appearing in the clearing. Tyler grabbed his bag and disappeared again, walking a couple hundred feet before putting on dry pants. He then came back yet again, preparing to go help with supper. Tyler dropped his bag near the tree and walked over to Regan. "Okay... what do I do." He drew his brows together slightly. Tyler knew how to skin an animal or pluck it, he knew how to pick out the bones, and he knew how to cook over an open fire... but he didn't make stew.

Regan smiled happily to the boy when he showed up, her hair now up in a ponytail while it dried. She nodded and handed him a spoon. "Mix for me," she chirped before grabbing some herbs and the like. She already had someone stripping the doe for her, so they didn't have much to do. They were soon enough finished, though, and she got a little ladle full of the broth, and tried it before her face lit up. She held it up to Tyler with a grin. "Try that... it's pretty good!" She chirped happily before getting a few plates and bowls to fill.

Tyler took the spoon. He couldn't mess up mixing... right? Tyler slowly mixed, holding the bowl and scraping the bottom. He cooked a lot back home... his parents were always fighting and his little sister needed to eat, so he was left with the job of cooking. Tyler just didn't remember all that much, and he never cooked stew. He finished mixing the bowl, then turned and looked at Regan as she tasted it. Tyler shook his head. "I'll try it when it's in my own bowl." He said quietly, helping her pour the stew into bowls and onto plates. After everything was served Tyler grabbed a small bowl, walking over to a bench in the corner that no one was sitting at. Tyler took a sip of the food... smiling. It was good.. really good.
