Tyler continued going through the woods, though he slowed to a walk. He took a deep breath, which really sounded more like a sigh, and decided he needed venison. -It has been quite a while since I ate that- Tyler mused thoughtfully in his mind, stalking towards where he knew a deer herd rested. He picked out an older buck, one that was already dying, then unsheathed a dagger. Tyler hadn't done this in a while, so it would be a test to see if his aim was still true. He threw the dagger, a deadly streak of metal flying towards the buck's spine. It sliced the spinal cord, killing the buck instantly and painlessly, and making Tyler smile a little. "No pain for the buck, good for nature, food for me." He murmured, going out after all the other deer had ran. Tyler gutted the deer before starting to drag it back to his cabin, his muscles flexing with the strain of the big animal. Once he got back TYler hung it up and skinned it before taking a break, washing the blood off of his hands in a nearby stream.

(Apologies for the late reply. I got busy and couldn't reply to anything) ~ Niki's shift was rather busy, but she was used to it. Evenings were usually busy due to people leaving work, teens being out of school and wanting to hang out with friends, and because of people heading to their own night shift jobs. The lines were about the same for her entire shift, long and impatient. Customers were complaining but Niki and the other workers were doing their best. Time flew by and soon the coffee shop was closed. Niki and the other workers began to clean up the place. Once done everyone wished one another a safe trip home, leaving Niki to close up the shop. Once done she decided to go to a small shop not far away from the coffee shop and grab a snack before going home. The shop was open almost all of the day and was luckily still open when she arrived. She bought herself a small desert cake and sat outside the shop to eat it. Once finished Niki began to make her way back home, which was now a farther walk away than the coffee shop.

That's perfectly fine, I was gone for 3 weeks straight so I couldn't tell haha) - Tyler took another deep breath, then stiffened rather quickly. There, on the wind, the stench of another werewolf hung like a deadly leopard above a herd of unsuspecting antelope, ready to take them out. -Orr, correct me, her out- Tyler thought with a sick feeling as a female human scent drifted in. In fact, a female human he knew the name of.... Nikki. - James growled under his breath as he stalked along the streets. He looked down the alleyways with glowing amber eyes, getting hungrier by the second before he saw a human walking 50 yards ahead. They were in the outskirts of town, and there were dark alleyways, so James was NOT going to wait to have his meal. "The female's are always more tender." He murmured with delight, morphing into a wolf that looked quite ugly. James leapt into a run and smashed into the girl with enough force to knock her down and bruise her, but no broken bones. He let out a snarl, grabbing her in wolf form and dragging her into an alley.

Niki glanced down each alleyway she walked past to make sure no one was going to jump her. 'I should really go to some self defense classes,' she thinks, 'or at least get some pepper spray.' She knew that there were some really good self defense classes in the city that were a decent pay to take as well as some stores that had small weapons like pepper spray and tasers. 'Wouldn't hurt to buy some,' she thinks as she continues walking. Suddenly she heard something quickly approaching her from behind and before she could turn to see who or what it was she was tackled to the ground. Niki hit her head slightly as she fell but felt herself being dragged away. She screamed when she saw what had a hold on her and tried to kick at the wolf. Her head still throbbed from being hit but she knew that it would just have a small bruise from the impact. Niki kept trying to get the wolf off of her as it dragged her into an alleyway with a dead end. She barely knew this area but she knew that the building around them were abandoned, meaning no one would hear her. "Get off of me you fiend," she screamed at the wolf.

When Tyler heard a scream, he made his decision. He dropped what was in his arms and sprinted out of the cabin, running full speed towards the town. -What STUPID werewolf decided to try and make a lunch of Nikki? Micheal or James? I'LL KILL EM- Tyler thought in a fury, though he wondered a little why he even cared. Worry sprang up inside up him and he pushed a little bit faster, streaking across the ground. Tyler saw in one of the alleys a big rugged werewolf pretty much wrestling with Nikki. He timed his blow perfectly, then bodyslammed the wolf that was at least 2 times the size of him in human form... into the ground. - James snarled as the human screamed, pinning her down with his paws. -Lunch lunch food Gosh I'm so hungry- Were his last thoughts before he yelped in pain, getting thrown to the side by... a man. -WHAT THE HECK- James thought with a bewildered look, snapping back up and slashing at the man with his claws. - Tyler took a moment to, I'll put it bluntly, shove Nikki to the side. Then he felt a searing pain across his chest as werewolf claws raked it. "Ouch ouch ouch" he yelped, deciding he wasn't going to get far in human form. He rather quickly changed into werewolf form, launching himself full throttle at the other werewolf and smashing the wolf into the wall. Tyler let out a snarl and threw the werewolf aside, who, at this point, had kind of given up the want for human, and had also kind of lost the will to live. "Leave." Tyler snapped, and the werewolf let out a whimper before darting off into the dark. Tyler felt rather dizzy, so he morphed back into human form and leaned up against the wall for a moment, Nikki forgotton, taking deep breaths

Niki struggled against the wolf with all of her might, despite the obvious advantages it had against her. She knew that if she were going to die to this being then she would go down fighting. Suddenly though she felt the wolf be shoved off of her. As she scrambled to her feet she was shoved to the side by a man. It took her a moment to recognize her hero as Tyler. She backed up to the wall on the other side of the alley as she watched the two fight. She watched every movement that happened. From Tyler shifting into his werewolf form to the other wolf darting off. Once it was out of sight Niki watched as Tyler shifted back and leaned against the wall. Worried about him, she ran to his side and examined the large slash across his chest. "You're hurt," she says quietly to herself but mostly to Tyler. Niki racked her brain to think if she had supplies at her apartment to help him. Although that did mean she had to help Tyler another block to her apartment and keep a werewolf with her for the entire night. 'He saved me though,' she thinks, 'so it would be just me paying him back.' After a moment she sighed and looked up at Tyler, "Two things. One, would you rather go to my place or give me directions to yours? And two, can you walk fine or do you need help?"

Tyler took in a slow breath, fighting off the darkness that tried to close in around his eyes. He was surprised to see Nikki still there... he would have expected her to dart off like a rabbit under attack as soon as he started battling the werewolf. When she started talking, he did try to listen. It almost confused him at first... was she offering to help? A werewolf? At her house? Why? The questions ran through his mind, but pain clouded them out... a lot like the blood soaking down his shirt. "My place is about 5 miles, so that might be a little hard to walk to. Yes, I can walk just fine." Tyler resisted a snort, his voice a little raspy from the sprint over then the fight. He stood up straight-er instead of leaning on the wall, shaking his head slightly in a failed effort to get rid of the dizzy wave that washed over him.

She listened as Tyler finally spoke and nodded at his answers. "Well I guess my place it is then," she says, noting that her's was closer. Niki then watched as Tyler stood straighter and watched him shake his head. She looked at his eyes and saw that they showed his dizziness, seeing that his eyes were moving back and forth some. She let out another small sigh and went to his right side. She wrapped his right arm over her shoulders before putting her own arm around him. "I know you said you could walk," she says as she looks up at him, "but I can tell that you are dizzy and I don't want to take any risks of you falling on the way there." Once Niki had finished talking she slowly took a step forward, then another, then another. She made sure to go slow at first to make sure that Tyler didn't fall over. She knew that as they would go they would speed up but for now they were taking it one step at a time.

Tyler's personality clashed strongly with his wolf one as he flinched away from Niki, focusing on her for a moment. "It's fine, I can walk. I won't fall and if I do, you can blame me." Tyler said, a rather stubborn note to his voice. He didn't like help from other people, he wasn't used to having someone that cared, and what he needed right now was Niki to either abandon him or lead him to her apartement. Tyler did follow her, but he hated taking short choppy steps so he walked slowly with longer strides.

Niki hesitated for a moment on Tyler's words but nodded and left his side. "We aren't far from it now," she says and leads him to her apartment building. Once there she opens the door to the lobby for him before leading him to the stairs. "More people take the elevator," she says to him, "so if we use the stairs then it is a lesser chance of you being seen. And don't worry about it being a long walk, my apartment is only on the third floor and the stairs are easy to climb." She starts to climb the steps rather quickly and it truly didn't take long to get to the third floor. She then lead Tyler to her apartment door and unlocked it and opened it for him. "You can sit on the couch," she says to him, "I'll go get the medical supplies."
