Aria smiled and kissed Sage's forehead softly, not wanting to awake him. She sighed and laid back in bed, heading back to her book. The girl grinned over at the boy sleeping.

Sage stayed asleep for a few more hours before waking up and looking around as if confused. "Did I fall asleep," he asked with a chuckle.
| |

Aria smiled. "Yes." She giggled. The girl sat up before feeling a deep pain in her stomach. She tensed and closed her eyes. Aria tried to level her breathing, but kept gasping for air.

Sage groaned and yawned then frowned slightly when the girl tensed up. "Are you ok," he asked. He was still very tired, but that had admittedly woken him up quite a bit.

Aria looked at Sage and nodded. "Yeah i'm fine." A few more minutes went by and her stomach still hurt. "No, no i'm not okay." She said as tears spilled down her face.

Sage frowned again and went over to hug the girl gently. "What's wrong," he asked. "Your stomach?" He was worried.

Aria leaned into Sage, hiding her face against his chest. "Y-Yes." She stuttered, crying harder. "It hurts." She wailed. Her throat felt dry and coarse when she tried to explain what was hurting.

Sage winced slightly and took a deep breath, trying not to panic. He nodded and hugged her quickly before making a quick decision. "Want me to go get the doctor or help you to his office? I can carry you if you don't want to walk," he offered.

Aria managed a small smile when he hugged her tighter. "I don't care. Which ever one is quicker." She said, breathing deeply and carefully.

Sage hummed and nodded. "Then I'm carrying you there," he announced. He scooped her up bridal style and practically ran to the doctor's. She was on a cot with the doctor checking on her soon.
