"Shit,done fucked up another damn time." He mumbled,taking a quick shower before isolating himself from her in the overlook,falling asleep in one of the chairs easily.

Rose eventually went back upstairs and changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt before climbing in bed. She'd gotten used to his absence and his sudden reappearance hit her emotionally like a truck

The gang had changed him,his mind now different.He didn't flinch if something quick went by quickly by his face,he preffered sleeping sitting,not laying down,as he could be quicker to awake,he awoke easily if it wasn't silence when he slept.

Rose eventually fell asleep, the nightmare of the night Caden left replaying like it just happened

Caden's sleep was dreamless,just darkness and that's all.

Rose woke the next morning and changed into shorts and a sweatshirt before heading downstairs. She sighed and ordered the same lotus she had for years before sitting on the couch and scrolling

Caden awoke and went into the kitchen,opening the liquor cabinet and a glass,follwed by a bottle of whiskey before heading into his study and locking the door.

Rose sighed and watched Caden go to his study. She wanted to just talk to him, be with him. But she didn't know how

Caden took a USB stick and plugged it into his laptop,deleating everything on it.He then poured a glass of the rum and downed it,standing and turning everything off before going to the living room and sitting on the couch,watching as Murphy approached. "What's your name again?Murphy?Murph?" He asks,Murphy perking his ears up. "Murph it is,I guess." Caden muttered,scratching the dog behind the ears.

Rose stayed where she was, shifting to give him space. She wanted to hold his hand, brush against him, something, but that wasn't going to happen for a bit.
