Sage wasn't sure what he'd expected, but he hadn't expected the back rub to feel so...good. Was he really always that tense? It surprised him a bit, but even so he leaned into Remys touch, letting his head drop into his shoulder as he fought sleep again

Remy kissed his temple, "Rest," he whispered.

Sage sort of grunted. "But this all needs to be cleaned up and ..and .." he wrinkled his nose, not able to remember what he was even going to say or what needed to happen.

"We can deal with it later, sleep,"

Sage had tried to argue, half sitting up to try and take care of the food, but hadn't gotten very far before collapsing back on Remy. The back rubbing didn't help. He'd passed out once he'd collapsed back on Remy, literally falling asleep sitting up and leaning against him.

Remy held him as he slept, making sure he was warm and comfortable.

Sage slept for a while, slightly surprised when he woke up to still be wrapped up in remys arms. He sort of gave him a groggy smile, shifting so he could nestle on a bit more.

Remy smiled down at the boy. "How'd you sleep?"

Sage let out a sleepy huff of air. "Fine," hummed, still definitely groggy but feeling a bit better. He hadn't eaten much, but there was a difference anyway. "How're you holding up," he asked after a moment or so.

"Pretty good," he hummed. "Leg still hurts, but not as bad as it did,"
