Flo gave a slight nod, unsure of what to think. If shoveling it all in was his tactic then maybe she could too, but she couldn't hold in emotion well. She sniffled and leaned into his embrace. "Sage... what day do you think today is?" she asked softly

Sage sort of sighed, trying to think about the question. "I have no idea," he mused after a moment. "But it's been rather shitty so it must be a monday," he reasoned after a moment, too tired to even find his own joke funny. Oh well. Maybe it would cheer her up a little bit.

"Can't be that bad if you're waking up, alive and well, with me, also alive and well, in your arms" Flo flashed Sage a tired smile, her head shaking as she let out a quiet giggle.

Sage sort of chuckled softly and nodded. "i suppose that's true," he mused, a grin forming on his face, even if it was a very tired one. "Just means the next day can't get any worse," he added with a sort of snort. It was more amused than anything. Probably due to lack of sleep but whatever.

Flo smiled and looked at him for a second. "More questions. Get ready." she shifter a little, getting more comfortable. "How's your shoulder?" she gave him a second to process it before throwing another question at him. "How long have we been in here? Like a week?"

Sage sort of groaned when she said she had more questions, but didn't argue. He doubted that would do much anyway. He just flopped onto his back, still holding her hand. "Shoot," he sighed after a moment, attempting to prepare himself. "I'm ok. Little tired, but I'm ok," he reassured her before wrinkling his nose. "I have no idea," he admitted. "Maybe. Around there," he thought out loud.

"ok isn't good. We need good" she giggled, situating herself so she was laying her head on his chest. "This alright?" Flo asked, a hint of hesitation in her soft voice. She tilted her head to look up Sage

Sage sort of chuckled and shrugged. "Give me a few days without us almost dying and I'll be good as new," he joked, a light blush creeping onto his face ehen she lay down on him, but wrapped his arm around her and nodded with a light hum.

"Hopefully the world won't try to kill us then" Florida ran a finger from his knuckled to his elbow then back down, her eyes tracing the path as she thought. "let's play a game" she grinned. "Like Truth or Dare or Never Have I Ever or something. Oh! Or Two Truths And A Lie!"

Sage sort of chuckled and nodded at her comment. "I dunno about you, but I could certainly use a break," he agreed, skin sort of tingling where her finger moved along hair skin. He rather liked it. "We'll pick one then, I can't do all three at once," he laughed, not really caring one way or the other.
