A few hours passed, but sadly they felt like minutes, until Niki's alarm went off for her to wake up. She groaned as her hand slammed down on the alarm clock and slowly sat up. Despite having the evening shift Niki still woke up early to be able to do other things productive in her day. It took her a few minutes to replay the events of last night before deciding to do a bit of digging. She hopped out of bed and changed into some sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt before sitting down at her computer and putting her hair up in a messy bun. She typed in her password before starting to search for answers. She read and found any and all sites about werewolves, mostly the ones that seemed realistic enough. Niki wanted to know more about this Tyler guy that had attacked her and says to possibly not get in that situation again if there were other werewolves in town.

Tyler finally passed out, which was very helpful since he was going to go into overdrive and do something stupid. He awoke to light streaking in the window and just about blinding him, making him even more grumpy. Tyler rolled off the bed and stood up slowly with a slow breath, changing into clean black clothing that looked exactly like the ones before and slinging back on his leather jacket. He then exited the cabin and started walking through the woods on the beaten paths. No shapeshifting, no running, no stalking through the forest. Walking ... on paths... like a normal person. Tyler then ran situations through his head and tried to decide whether to leave town or not. What chance was it that Niki told someone, and what chance was it that she didn't.

Niki kept reading and researching for a while before her stomach decided that it was time for some food. She pushed out from the desk and walked into the small kitchen her apartment held. After looking at the time, seeing that it was now almost noon, she decided to eat something small so that she wouldn't spoil lunch when it was time. She searched through the fridge and rinsed off some strawberries and blueberries before putting them into a bowl and walking back to her room. She then sat down at her desk again and placed the bowl in her lap. As she read some articles she would eat a berry or two. They did cease her hunger enough that she knew that she could wait until lunch now. Edited at June 10, 2023 11:00 PM by Paranormal Pastures

Tyler finally decided he could turn back, but there was no way he was going into town after this. Way too dangerous. The only problem... he didn't really have that much food. -And I am NOT resorting to eating freshly killed meat because that will SET OFF alarms that DO NOT want to be set off- Tyler thought grumpily, continuing to his cabin. Once he got there he took out a loaf of bread and some butter for breakfast, grilling up some grilled cheese. Why not. He then ate the newly created meal before packing up some things, just in case he had to leave in a hurry

A few hours passed and soon Niki had read just about every article on the internet about werewolves. 'Maybe the library has a few books,' she thinks, 'but I don't feel like leaving the house right now.' After a while of thought Niki found herself in front of her TV in the living room and searching for any documentaries about werewolves. "Am I taking this too far," she asks herself out loud suddenly, "I mean it was just one encounter with one guy. How do I know there is or is not any more like him in the city? I could just be over exaggerating." She sighs some and stares at the remote in her hand. A few moments pass before Niki starts an episode of one of her favorite shows and watches that instead.

Tyler decided not to leave yet, but he was getting short on food. -I really really don't want to go to town after this- He thought, feeling like a wilted flower. Tyler decided to do it anyway, slipping on his leather jacket with a sigh and exiting the small cabin. He walked into town with his gaze on his feet, going to the small grocery store and buying the needed supplies before hauling everything home. "So much for home is where the heart is, now it's home is where the food is." Tyler murmured under his breath, dropping the bags on the table and going to start cleaning the counter

After an episode of her show Niki got on her phone and ordered some food for lunch. As she waited for the food she watched the next episode. Her mind had slightly forgotten about her research in the werewolves, which was probably a good thing. After the episode ended a knock came from her apartment door. Niki went to it and found the delivery person with her bag of food. She pays them and smiles kindly before closing the door. The bag consisted of a foam bowl of rice and a few other foam carryout containers with other Chinese dishes. Sure this isn't a common lunch for most people, but since Niki worked late shifts it also accounted for dinner of sorts.

(Hey, wanna do a thing where Niki decides to take a walk at night because she didn't really seemed like she cared haha, get attacked by yet another werewolf, then for some reason Tyler ends up being there?) - Tyler put away the grocery's before knowing he needed meat. He never bought meat, because all that he needed was supplied in his own back yard. Tyler grabbed his daggers and jogged out the door, moving silently through the forest. Half of werewolves liked to stay in their wolf form their whole life... and the other half only used it for hunting. Tyler was neither. He despised his wolf form, and would only use it in a special battle or when he was forced to. Like a full moon.

(1. Yes that sounds like a good idea! 2. That's ok I totally understand!) ~ Hours passed before Niki's alarm went off to say that she needed to head to work. She quickly cleaned up her lunch and put leftovers away before slipping on her shoes and rushing out the door. Her walk to the coffee shop was almost 20 minutes, but she knew a few short cuts. Since it was still light out Niki cut through some alleyway to make it to the shop in time. She entered through the back door and got on her apron before checking herself in the mirror. After putting her hair up in a messy bun Niki went out to the counter and swapped spots with the person that's shift just ended.
