"Sage... You can do it however you want. Your dad does things differently then you. You are you." Aria said smiling. "Let's go inside." She said grabbing his hand and walking inside the castle, to their room. "The baby will be here in less than a month. I know you will keep us safe right? You just do that for the kingdom too." The girl smiled. "I know you'll make a wonderful king."

Sage sighed and nodded, taking her hand gratefully. "I certainly hope so," he murmured. "I don't want my child growing up in a war. That happened to me, and I'll never be the same," he murmured quietly. Then he gave the girl a grateful smile. "You'll be queen, you know, if you marry me," he told her. "I...I'd like for you to marry me." He felt a blush growing on his cheeks.

Aria smiled back at the boy. "Neither do I. I want it to be as safe as possible." The girl said happily. At Sage's next comment, she felt her heart skip a beat. A light blush covered her cheeks and she grinned. "Sage... Really?" She asked, her eyes welling up with tears.

Sage hummed and nodded, then nodded again at her question. "Yes," he said firmly. "Yes, I want to marry you. You're amazing and beautiful and the mother of my child ....and I don't know if I can do this without your support," he whispered.

Aria beamed and wrapped her arms around Sage, crying into his shoulder. "I-I want to marry you too Sage." She whispered to the boy. "I love you." She said happily. Aria looked deeply into his eyes. "Of course we'll have the wedding after the baby is born." She giggled, wipping her eyes.

Sage was relieved when she said yes and felt a wide smile for on his face. "Good, I'm glad," he hummed. "I...er...I don't have a ring this second....it just kind of came out," he admitted with a chuckle. "I'll get one soon," he promised before nodding. "The baby comes first," he hummed happily.

Aria smiled. She giggled and looked at the boy. "That's okay." She laughed softly. Aria laid her head against Sage as they walked inside to his room. She sort of collapsed onto the bed and drifted asleep happily.

Sage smiled happily and nodded, staying with the girl until she fell asleep before going back to his desk to finish paperwork. He went to find a ring after that, and set it next to her pillow. By then it was early morning, and there was more paperwork to be done, even if he was tired. So, he started on that. He ended up falling asleep at his desk, pen in hand, while the sun was rising.

When Aria woke up, she noticed the stunning diamond ring next to her pillow. She beamed and put it onto her finger happily. The girl looked over at Sage, who was sleeping on his desk. She brought a blanket over and wrapped it around him.

Sage didn't move when the girl came over to him, he was completely out of it. He supposed staying up doing work all night would do that to a person.
