| Bird He could also be old. Can’t really tell without a pic, but my old boy, especially towards his end, was only about 7 lbs no matter what we did, and his coat went down hill because his arthritis made it hard to clean himself and he didn’t like us brushing him much. Once again though, idk how old this cat looks and you’d probably have to take him to a vet to get a more accurate age. |

| Since it was sitting in front of their door I hope that means it has a home. Maybe I should just let it go. |

| Bird You could take it to the vet to see if its chipped but i have no idea how common it is for people to chip cats honestly so the house the cat hangs out by those people could just be the ones who feed it sometimes so it could possibly just be a stray |

| it could be both. one of my cats is old and has allergies that made her thin. another had a heart disease, and one was abandoned |

| @Columet, a lot of people in my neighborhood let their cats roam. You can tell most of them are pets though so I hope that means they are fixed. |

| @Serenity, I don't have any photos. He was friendly, but his coat was dull and you could feel his spine and ribs. I'm not sure if it's because he's old or has a condition or if he is starving. |

| take him and see if he is chipped? you could feed him if it gets too concerning. if its not too much, can I see that cat? I have several pets that are skinny that I help |

| I need advice, there is a skinny cat in my neighborhood and I don't know who he belongs to. A little girl saw me petting him and I asked who he belongs to and she pointed to the house he was sitting outside of, but I'm concerned because he's so skinny. I tried leaving them a note that asked if it belonged to them, but I haven't gotten a response. |
