"Hey, easy. Easy," Marco reassured, stroking the mare and calming her quickly until she stood quietly and calmly. "Atta girl. There you go," He praised, walking the mare around. |

She walked around, ears perked up, head held higher. |

Marco kept walking her, praising her as she did. Once he recalled the small amount of vet knowledge he'd learned from Roy, he did a few checks before asking her for a trot. |

He ran alongside her, keeping his hand steady as he made sure her gate was smooth. |

The mare tossed her head, happily trotting around. |

"Seems she's doing just fine!" Marco called, slowing her back to a walk. |

"Thank the gods." Liliana stated. "Like I said, the vet just wanted to know, just to see. She had a slim chance of recovering, hence why she was sold to slaughter, so I got her." |
