Sage couldn't help but laugh when Celeste skipped around, seemingly as excited to be out and about as he was. He squeezed her hand happily, letting her drag him around through the woods. They'd find a place to stop for lunch or whatever eventually. And he was quite happy to just wander around in the woods until then.

Sage wandered around with her for a few hours, ears and nose going the entire time as he took in their new surroundings. He could smell plenty of prey animals, and plenty of plants that were edible. It was a good area, and he was happy to be there. They settled down at a nice spot by the lake, and he got food out, letting Liz rest in his lap.

Sage nodded in agreement with Celeste comment about the food, humming happily. "red meat is the best," he agreed lightly, finishing his sandwich soon enough and then just looking over the lake. "It really is a beautiful place," he hummed after a while, hoping she'd turn to look at it. He figured now would be a nice time to propose ...and he was certainly ready to do it.

Sage couldn't help but chuckle when she kicked her shoes, taking his own shoes off and nestling Liz down safely before following her down to the water.

It was a bit cool, but he was perfectly fine with splashing around a little bit. They could have fun, that was alright.

Sage just grinned back at the girl, kissing her back lightly, humming happily into the embrace. "I love you too," he murmured into her lips. 'i love you more than you can imagine," he added, moving to step back and slide down onto one knee happily. "which is why I want you to be my wife. Forever.," he murmured. "And on our wedding night, I want you to change me. So we really can be together forever," he added. That would be a surprise to her....but a good one, he'd figured.
