He grunted, it stung like 100 hornets. Son of a ! He exhaled , bearing the pain. This is your fault em. He teased his smile warm. He looks outside the snowstorm picking up, Its like -6 if the power goes out were screwed. He let emery finish putting the oitment on, Could get an arm tattoo to cover it when it heals He debated, wanting to see her reaction. He watched the kitten fall into the bowl of water then into the food. He laughed, well, chuckled dramatically. |

"Oh please, you're fine you sissy." She teased, shrugging when he said it was her fault. "Well, sometimes whenever you say some things, it makes me not feel very sorry." Emery laughed, the laughing stopping as he said he could get a tattoo. "You can't tattoo healing skin, smart one." She chuckled, flicking his forehead. She elbowed him when the kitten fell into the water, right in his side on a spot she knew would hurt a little bit. "That is not funny! The poor thing is barely surviving! Stop making fun of it!" Emery snapped, pulling the kitten out of it and drying it off, noticing it was shivering. "I know, i'm cold too." She murmured softly to it, pulling it to her as she went and grabbed a blanket, wrapping it in it. |

He watched her, this is defineitly a crush. He sat by her, not like huddled up to her , just in the rocking chair. He checked his phone, his dad texted back -Okay- Well, his sores didnt hurt, stung a bit when he touched them, then he sat on the couch next to em. You're such a sucker for baby animals. he commented, a smile. As he sat there watching the kitten, the power went off. Well, Shoot. he exclaimed, the house already getting colder. You guys dont even have a bacak-up generator? he shivered, refusing to put his sweatshirt back on, worried the friction would irritate his burns, and smudge the oitment. Its way too cold in here! he remarked. |

Emery shifted a smidge closer to him whenever he settled beside her on the couch, rolling her eyes at his tease. "Eli it's helpless! Probably doesn't even have a mother anymore..." She trailed off, relating to the sentence. The woman just sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose when the power went out, shivering once before reaching over and pulling Elias's sweatshirt on, the fabric smelling strongly of him as she pulled it over her head, the smell getting washed away as she pulled it down. Em shook her head at his question, even though she didn't really have an answer since she was trapped in his eyes. "No, even if we did it'd still take a while to get warm again." She explained softly, pulling her gaze away from him. The woman chuckled at his remark of it being way too cold, her nodding her head in agreement. "I agree, i'm ready for summer to be back already!" |

He lets out a small chuckle, "Hey i agree it is helpless" He noticed that she stole his sweatshirt, It was way to big on her, Practically a blanket. The sweatshirt was his old highschools, on the back it had his last name amd his graduating year. "Rowan, Class of 24'" He playfully threw a plush pillow at her. "Dont chuckle at me!" he acted offended, his hand at his chest with a "Innocent" expression. |

She threw the pillow back at him, glaring teasingly. "Don't throw no pillows at me, and poor you, I laughed, and now your offended. Think about that," Emery teased, tapping her temple with a finger as she pulled a thick blanket over the two to keep warm. "I would take the whole thing but, I don't know how to defrost people." She mused |

He rolled his eyes jokingly. (Timeskip!) The morning sun rised, it spreading a nice glow , Elias was on the floor, with a pillow and a small throw blanket. Em took up the entire couch. he lifted his head, the power was back on and it was warm. He looked towards emery, her sleeping with her hair messed up, he had to head back home. He grabbed a small notepad, he began writing on it, he tore it off and set in on the coffee table. it said "You Seemed comfortable didnt want to wake you." and a small little cheesy heart. he opened the door, the snow deep as he walked down to the coffee shop to get his car. he drove his car home a smile on his face, he pulled into his driveway. |

Emery woke a few hours later after he left, looking around and seeing Elilas gone. She sat up, rubbing at her eyes as she stood and walked around. "Elias?" The woman called, eventually seeing the note---and the heart. She smiled at it, deciding to cook some breakfast. Emery cracked an egg into the pan, remembering about something upstairs and heading up. "What's burning?" She muttered, smelling it as she walked back downstairs and saw the black burned eggs, pulling them off the burner as she turned off the stovetop, sending a picture of them to Elias. -See, if you would've stayed I could've given you these 5 star eggs y'know- |

His phone buzzed in his pocket, he was making emi a coffee, and was gonna drop it off while taking the kitten to the vets. " Looks Yummy." He decided that emi would most likely, not make anything else. he put a little danish in, the danish had eggs, and this type of family cheese recipe. He sent a little monkey emoji, and a picture of the kitten. the kitten was on the counter walking around. I think im gonna name it Rowan, after my last name. he sent it, driving towards her house. |

-lol real traditional- She sent, chuckling at the text before looking back down at the eggs. Emery didn't make anything else, flopping down on the couch and tuning onto some random chanel featuring a ancient detective and a fresh out of college partner, both investigating the crime of a married man mysteriously being murdered. |
