Jason walked through the door a bit later, his hair dishoveled and a mess. He looked tired, but instantly perked up at the smell from the kitchen as he walked over, finding it spotless and finding Esme cooking steak, potatoes, and green beans. "Holy hell, you made the entire house smell awesome." Jason mused, grabbing a glass out of the now clean cabinet and heading to the whiskey cupboard, trying to choose what he wanted as he asked Esme if she wanted some too.

Esme smiled, "Sorry its a little late, it should be ready soon," she hummed. "No, I don't drink," she said, glancing over her shoulder. A few minutes later, she plated everything, making it look pretty before setting it on the counter for him to enjoy.

Jason shrugged his shoulders as he sat down, drinking the glass of firey, amber liquid. He picked up the glass as Esme set the plate down. "Oh wow, that's a lot better then the last person." He mused, taking a bite. "Mm."

"You can call me Jason. Everyone does." He took a key out of his pocket. "Here, this is the spare key for the house and doubles for your room, don't loose it. I trust you."

She nodded, taking the key, "Thank you sir- Jason," she corrected herself.

"Mhm." He walked away, leaving Esme to her new room. Jason sat as the table, mindlessly flipping through his phone, his buttoned shirt half-unbuttoned.

Esme unpacked her things, making herself comfortable in her new room. The bathroom was particularly grimy so she cleaned it until it was sparkling and finished unpacking. By the time she'd finished, it was late, 11, maybe. But she'd forgotten to clean up the kitchen, so she wandered down to the kitchen, silently cleaning.
