Lorelei whimpered, crumpling. She flopped down on the bed, absolutely terrified. Lorelei got no sleep that night. The next day, she couldn't eat. She felt sick as what the man had done fully sank in. That night she didn't go back to her apartment to wait for the man. The man did haunt her thoughts, her insides melting with longing even as the fear set in with every thought. Instead of going home, she changed into leggings and a sports bra in the back of her limo before going to her local gym, which she began with her cardio workout on the treadmill. The gym was empty, which put her at unease, but she popped her headphones on and blasted her music, doing her workout. She stayed there hours into the night, well past when she should've been at home for the man.

Once Kai arrived at her apartment, the door unlocked, he stepped in and cursed under his breath. "Where is she?" He muttered to himself, looking around silently and leaving nothing out of place. He tracked her phone and waited outside the gym's door for her after leaving a note on her car. You weren't home. -K

Lorelei finally exited the building well past midnight. Surely the man wouldn't still be out looking for her now, right? She went over to her car seeing the note. She read it and her blood chilled. Lorelei whirled around, looking for the man, absolutely terrified.

"Lorelei...." Kai purred, sauntering up to her alluringly. He was used to....making himself look appealing to his targets. "I checked your home, the door was unlocked by the way, and you weren't there. I warned you, did I not?" He purred, muscular arms with a few tattoos folded across his broad chest. "I told you that my one requirement for you to keep your life was for you to follow my every direction." He clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Tsk, tsk, Lorelei. One rule and you had to break it"

Lorelei was practically frozen to the spot, shaking. "...How did you find me?... Why can't you just leave me alone?" she asked fiercely, tears dripping down her cheeks. Slowly, she reached behind her to untuck her hunting knife from her pocket. She probably wasn't going to win against this man, but she could at least try.

He was taken aback by her question. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" He didn't know. "Because my enitre reputation is on the line and it depends on if you die. Soon. So follow my one, singular rule, and maybe i'll let you live. I don't want to kill you, per-se, but I would like you to trust me." He said softly, not closing the gap between them anymore. He had conspicuously parked right beside her, so he leaned on the frame. "What do you say, sweetheart? Trust me?"

Lorelei considered it, but she didn't want to be put into a box just because of his reputation. She shook her head. "No. Back off. Stay away," she muttered, getting into her car, putting the hunting knife right next to her incase she needed it. She locked her car and began to drive away.

Kai smirked and hopped into his car, the tank full, and blazing right on her heels. She wasn't getting away

Lorelei looked in her rear view mirrors. She panicked, and put the petal all the way down to the ground, speeding way past the limit. She wasnt a good driver by anymeans, but she had to get away from this man, he was absolutely crazy.
