Myra nodded, propping up her chin with a fist as she looked over at him. With a sigh, she spoke softly, ``Everyone does, it`s the only way to get better.``

Caleb gazed at her for a moment, just enjoying her presence before hearing Splash whinny inside the trailer. He chuckled. "And that's Splash, my mare" He explained, slightly emmbarassed by his hore's behavior

|
Myra laughed gently, smiling as she glanced between him and the trailer. With a soft hum, she found herself asking quietly, ``Could I see her?`` She truly loved getting to know horses, the beautiful animals having a special and permenant place in her heart. She felt like they deserved more love and attention, especially for how talented and gorgeous most of them were.

"Of course" he said, standing. He walked to the back of the trailer and opened it, walking in and grabbing the mare's halter. "She wants to meet you" he told his horse, kissing her nose. He revealed the tall, colorful mare when he walked her out of the trailer, stepping back and pulling off the cooler sheet

Myra stood up and followed him, making sure to stay somewhat close to him out of habit. She was quiet as she observed him open the trailer and lead the gorgeous mare out, her eyes widening. Splash really was a gorgeous horse and she didn`t seem like the stereotypical mare at the moment; she seemed calmer. ``She`s so beautiful,`` Myra whispered with a smile as she took a few steps closer, outstretching a hand to let Splash approach her if she wanted. Some horses were more skittish and hesitant when it came to meeting new people, something she had learned the hard way.

Splash eagerly extended her nose toward her hand, hopeful for treats. She huffed a soft greeting of warm air at the woman's hand. "She's been with me since the beginning" He admitted, patting the mare's nose as he let go of her halter. Splash had been untied and left loose overnight next to the trailer at a rodeo before, so Caleb wasn't worried about her running off. The grounds were fencedin anyways, so if she did get away she wouldn't go far.

|
``That`s wonderful,`` Myra commented with a smile, nearly laughing when Splash huffed into her hand. It would seem she still managed to be likeable and approachable in the eyes of most horses; she liked to think it was because of how much she loved the animals. She did not question him when he let go of her halter, knowing that he would have only done so if he knew she would not wander off. ``Reminds me of Adonis. I`ve known him since he was a little yearling.``

Caleb chuckled, his hands in his pockets. He nodded when she told him about her horse again. "He's beautiful" He murmured, watching the two females interact

|

|
She smiled as she stroked Splash`s neck, being careful to take note of her body language; the last thing Myra wanted was to make her feel uncomfortable, even if she did seem content at the moment. At Caleb`s comment regarding Adonis, her smile grew and she nodded in agreement. Adonis truly was one of a kind- at least from her perspective- and he never failed to make her proud. Myra had ridden quite a few horses in her life and it had only been Adonis` sire that had a determination and athleticism that rivaled his own.

Caleb watched them for a moment before Splash lost interest in people and began nipping at the grass below her. Caleb chuckled and put the blanket back on her before putting her to bed with a treat. "Night, girl" He said softly, kissing the mare's velvet nose. He shut the trailer and locked it before sitting back down beside the fire
