Once she was satisfied he was sleeping she put more wood on the fire and turned toward his bed "Use your second chance well." She told him before she left him going to her own room... something told her he wouldn't be staying long... she figured he'd likely be gone by morning she just hoped what little medical attention he'd gotten was enough... she'd left some water and some food beside his bed as well hoping that if he did leave he'd eat... it wasn't a warm meal but it was a meal that would help him fight off whatever his wounds were... the poultice would draw out infection and keep the wound clean as well... she just hoped he'd leave it on Ling enough for it to do it's job.

Gale's eyes fluttered open as he awoke, the light filtering in through the windows. He sat up as his body protested in ache. With a groan he sid off the bed, grabbing his clothes from the previous day and changing back into them, walking into the hallway. He looked around, nobody in sight. Now all he had to do was find a horse and he was long gone. Gale wondered through the halls, finding the stables evetually.Dawn was just now awaking, barely surpassing the tree line.He walked in,eyeing a powerful looking black hot-blooded gelding.Gale sighed, saddeling the horse and hopping on,kicking it out of the stables at a gallop. Hedarted down the path, almost to the kingdoms gates. "Stop!" A voice boomed,Gale turning his head and spotting a knight.Dummie must've thought he was stealing the horse. Eh,he was stealing the horse. Gale rolled his eyes, darting onto a street full of vendors, the knight getting stuck behind a passing group of ox.Gale running out of the kingdom home free.

Adeline awoke to the shouting and went to the window watching the guards chasing after a young man on a horse... she recognized the horse and quickly went to check on their guest.. Noticing the sheets and blankets were all a mess and he wasn't in the bathroom she shook her head "See you around I guess..." She shrugged. (Headed off for the night ^_^ if you wanna do a year skip go for it!)

Gale galloped the horse,it eventually throwing him.He landed on his hands, them turning red as the horse ran into the forest. "Die in a hole or something." He muttered, quickly picking himself up and walking aswell into the woods, finding a curved stick and making a make-shift bow.He took out a knife he kept in his trousers, using it to sharpen sticks into arrows. With a grin Gale crept into the underbrush, arching his arm along with the bow, waiting for the perfect shot.A small buck walked out, velvet still on its antlers.Gale almost gasped, food was food. He pulled the bow-string and waited for the shot,it coming and him releasing the bow.It driving its way into the bucks side.Gale walked over and shut its eyes. "May your sacrifice be taken well, creature." He said softly, running his hand through its fur, feeling the warmth of it that would've lived longer. Gale stripped the buck of some of its meat, skewering cubes onto sticks and cooking them in a small fire, the flames growing bright and the smoke reaching up.

Adeline sighed and started cleaning up from last night's events... this would be her brother's future brides guest room so she had to make it neat and tidy again. By lunchtime the room was presentable again and she headed down for lunch letting her brother know the young man had left. She only hoped they were able to help him enough to survive. "I figured he'd leave as soon as he could... he is a criminal after all..." Adeline stared at her brother as if he were a stranger "We did a good thing." She reminded him. "Did we?" "Yes we did." She said firmly "I can't believe you even thought that it wasn't a good thing... You're the one who taught me that we give to those who can't give to themselves..." She told him. "Yes but this situation is different." He argued. "Why? Because he made a few mistakes?" She asked. "No because you put our whole kingdom in danger!" He hissed "Were not kids anymore Adeline... EVERYONE is watching us... waiting for us to make a mistake so they can take our kingdom..." he told her. "Let them watch..." With that Adeline turned on her heels and went upstairs to have a bath.

time skip to a year later or nah?) Gale kicked the remains of the fire away, disposing of the buck and slinging his bow and quiver of arrows along his back, walking off. He walked for a while, eventually finding a stream.Gale cupped the water in his hands and cleaned his face off,the blood coming off easily. The water was clear, gaining Gale's trust to drink it.He drank greedily, mouth a desert. He kept walking, walking back towards the kingdom. With little money he would buy what he needed. Not what he wanted. Gale walked into the outskirts, purchasing a black winter cloak. To keep warm and hide himself from the rest.He sold some of the extra deer meat, giving him just enough to buy a dinged up bow and a set of decent arrows. With a sigh he pulled the cloak over him, hiding his face under the shadows. He slung the bow and new quiver of arrows along his back again, discarding of the old.

I'll do that ^-^)) After about a year the two siblings seemed more at odds with one another... Adeline spent more and more time away from her brother and more time among the people of her kingdom. Lately she'd found them to be better company than her stressed out brother whom she had frequent disputes with... especially after his divorce... No she never liked his wife but she wasn't the reason why they weren't together anymore... they all found out the hard way that Andre was sterile... However one of their servants was not... It was never a happy marriage to begin with but her brother seemed to be excited to be a father... that is until the babe arrived with a deeper/darker more olive complexion than either him or his wife had. So both she and the babe had moved on from here not long after the babe was born... This only seemed to frustrate her brother more so she thought it best to steer clear of him. She smiled as she stroked the soft velvet nose of a farmers mule on the outer edge of town while she waited for her eggs... she giggled as the mule attempted to nibble at the buttons on her chest "Silly goose." She giggled before the farmer handed her a basket full of beautiful eggs "Just means he likes ya." He teased. The two of them said their goodbyes before she headed off back toward the more populated town.

Gale walked through the crowded cobblestone streets.Hiding from the occasional guard. He walked,pick-pocketing people as he went. Gale got watches, money, scraps of food,a pearl necklace.Money and survival. His cloak flurrled behind him,the light snow getting caught on it. A face caught his eyes, memories darting back to when she was the one who broke him out of jail. Gale stopped in his tracks, eyes wide and turning around, pulling his cloak far over his head and sprinting down the streets, running into people along the way.

Adeline weaved in and out of the crowd it was more crowded than she was expecting with Winter but she loved it all the same... she stopped by to get a glass of warm hot chocolate complete with marshmallows... it tasted wonderful in the cold she noticed the black cloak out of the corner of her eye but didn't think much of it as she sipped her hot chocolate and started making her way to the bakery the smell overwhelmingly enticing... she almost couldn't resist the sweet treats the baker had to offer.

Gale's golden earing caught glimpes of sun light,as he ran through the crowd. He gained elevation, eyeing the women from earlier heading to bakery's stand.Gale sighed, darting over to the stand beneath the cover of pedestrians. He leaned on the stand, waiting as she walked over. "Long time no see,ma'm." His rich voice called out,the cloaks hood getting pushed back by the wind, his face being revealed.
