Sage sort of wrinkled his nose and shrugged. "Depends on who the guard was," he admitted after a moment of thought. Though he chuckled softly at her comment about keeping the secret safe and just took in a deep breath of air, mroe subconsciously than not. Her next comment caught him a little bit off guard....he certainly hadn't expected soemthing like that to coem from the girl. But he didn't really mind...he just wasn't sure how to respond. "Everyone has their burdens," he mused after a moment or so. It was the best he could come up with....but it was rather true. At least, for him it was, and it seemed like it was that way for the girl too.

"Burdens" she repeated with a huff of air, looking away. "That's one word for it" how could she explain to this man that she had't done anythign wrong? Ally ran a tired hand through her hair, trying to think of why she was even speaking. He was an enemy! She closed her mouth, willing herself to stay silent for the remainder of the walk

Sage sorry if shrugged in response to the girls huff, knowing she'd be upset with something. Everyone's today with something. Hell, he was upset about plenty of things, nearly constantly. He just didn't give them the time of day. It probably wasn't healthy, but whatever. He was ok with staying silent for a bit though....it was nice outside, so just wandering along in the breeze and the sun was nice enough.

Ally glanced around, suddenly more interested in going back to her cell or eating. "When is dinner?" she asked, her voice slightly colder than it had been just a few minutes earlier. A strand of her hair fliped infront of her head and she pulled it back behind her ear

Sage noted the change in the girls tone, so he picked up speed again, trying not to let her change in attitude bother him. Admittedly, for whatever reason, it hurt a little bit for her to auddyshut him off again. It surprised him...he cared nothing for her, and barely knew her ...she was his job and nothing more. Why did he care what she thought of him? He shouldn't. "Six thirty," he noted calmly, moving back towards the building.

Alleyah dropped her head, studdying the ground as she walked. She gave a slight nod of recognition when he answered her question. "What time is it now?" She asked, only glancing up when the building that held her cell came into view. "Home sweet home" she said, sarcasm dripping from her voice

Sage moved to glance at his watch in response to her comment before dropping the arm. "Almost six," he noted in a carefully neutral tone. He sort of grunted in a slight agreement to her sarcastic comment, but swiped the card he had to open the door, bringing her back inside and locking her back in the cage before moving to walk a few of the other prisoners around in their turn. Once that was done, he came back and plopped down in his chair with a slight huff of breath, watching carefully as the meals were handed out to the prisoners. He was a little salty he had to wait until his shift was over to eat, though....one more reason he didn't like the cops.

Alleyah plopped down in her cell, feeling slightly jealous that other prisoners got a walk with him. Why? She couldn't say. She found herself counting the time that they were gone. "Are they speed walkin' or som'n?" Dale's cellmate grumbled from the shadows. "i don't know" she answered, watching the door. "They mush be taking a much shorter walk then he did with you" Dale answered, his gaze making her back away. "I talked and admired the trees" she said, her eyes closing slightly. Dale sighed. "i barely remember what trees look like." Ally nodded a little. "yeah" she sat down and waited for her food, ignoring the guard. When her food came she took it, eating like she did everyday then placing her plate infront of the door

Sage waited there while the prisoners ate, making sure nothing happened. They all just seemed content to be fed though, and he couldn't help with agree with them on that one. He'd be grateful to be fed right then too. That wasn't going to happen though. He spoke a few hushed words with the cooks as they waited for the food to be eaten, and once the prisoners were done they took the plates and disappeared, locking the doors behind them. He always hated that noise...he'd rather be out somewhere living the high life, running from cops and getting a thrill out of whatever he decided to do. Here, he was just as much of a prisoner as any of them. Maybe even more so.

Ally sat in silence for a while which caught Dales attention. "So what happened out there to make you so quiet?" He asked. "Nothing... just thinking..." Dales expression softened at her words. "You think too much" he said and she looked up at him. "If I don't think, I'll lose my mind" she sighed then stood, pacing around the cell. Grant, Dales cellmate, peeked around Dales head. "Sit down 'leyah" he grumbled. "yuh pacin' 's gettin' on ma nerves" he said. Alleyah rolled her eyes and sat down on her bed, her fingers aching to draw
