Elowyn looked over her shoulder at him, shifting on her feet and shaking her head. "No." She said quietly, turning her attention back to the horse and pausing. "Goodnight." She called quietly, still focusing on her newfound furry friend. Once Dante had left, she stayed in the barn for 15 more minutes, maybe longer, before she made her way up to her room to get ready for bed.

Dante was slightly surprised by the goodnight. "Night." He murmured loud enough for her to hear. And then crawled up to his living area buried in the rafters. He didn't have too terrible of a sleep which was pleasing. tomorrow we start day 2 hehe))

Hehehehe)) Elowyn woke up a little later than most on the ranch did- around 8. She took a shower and brushed her teeth, changing into shorts and a T-shirt before she padded barefoot to the door. When she glanced outside, there was a small box of clothes outside, which she had asked someone to pick up for her. She gently tugged the box into her room and threw her hair into a messy bun high on her head. Everything fit well enough- it wasn't hanging off of her or making her feel like a stress ball, so that made the Jean's, boots, and shirt seem more comfortable. There was a hat, too, but it felt like a joke more than anything.

While working, Dante wondered if he's see any of their new 'boss' today, considering how abrupt the purchase had been. Today was supposed to be a little cooler, 70s maybe, talk about late spring/early fall weather. He'd already watered and made sure those who didn't have hay, had some, and was working on sectioning out food for them. Then he'd eat. At least eventually, never when he first wakes up.

Elowyn had an apple because she wasn't really interested in making anything else- so she wandered outside, still eating quietly at her apple as she did so. She explored somewhat randomly, tossing her apple core in the nearest trashcan and only then making her way toward the barn.

She just walks in on him lady and the tramping it with a horse and a carrot: )) Dante was enjoying some time with a big ol gypsy mare who was grazing the feed manger. Braiding her abundant, two colored mane. Ewually on both sides to keep her on balance. He didn't have any hair ties but he was braiding for fun. Plus she didn't mind having her hair a little more manageable. If you listened closely he was talking to her quietly, effectively mot listening to anything else. PAHAHAHA *totally didnt just put that on my bucket list*)) Elowyn hesitated when she saw him, the same deer in headlights look momentarily crossing her face before she steeled herself. She was the boss. She could do whatever she wanted, and she didn't care if people judged her. Or, that's what she forced herself to think. She walked quietly to another stall, a chestnut paint gelding. In the silence, she heard him softly muttering to the mare, looking over at him as she stroked at the horse in front of her. His lip quivered gently against her palm, and she smiled at the sensation, turning back to her new friend eagerly.

HEHEHEEEE)) Dante wasn't paying any attention whatsoever as he switched sides, swooping under her neck and fetching another wad of hair, over her withers he caught a glimpse of Elowyn, more than mildly startled. Murmuring at some small curse. "You wearin' sneakers or somethin'? I didn't hear you come in." He called over the black and white arched neck.

Elowyn jolted when Dante spoke, looking around in a "Who, me?" Manner before she realized he was actually addressing her. "I got decent shoes, so that might be it." She shrugged, holding out her boot and continuing to pay attention to the affectionate horse beside her. She gestured quietly to the mare at his side. "I didn't take you for a braider." She responded.

Damte cocked an eyebrow, glancing up at her. At the moment he couldn't see her shoes but he figured she'd found some since yesterday. As he finished off the braid he looked up at her comment, slipping back under her neck. "I wouldn't either but she seems to like it." He picked up the last section of her neck and parted it. "I didn't know your glasses weren't permanent." He kept his gaze on his handy work.
