That's fine!)) Dallas shrugged, giving a slight nod. He had already given his mind over to the idea that he would spend the rest of his life alone- he had more important things to worry about. Buck. Survival. Those were really it, but still. "True, I guess." He said lightly, watching Buck trot over to lay on his chest. He gave a faint smile, stroking the dog's fur in silence as he stared at the sky.

She nodded in response to this. She stands up. "You two can stay here as long as you'd like." She tells them. She walks over to a covered chest and opened it. She pulled out a few blankets and other things for the two. She walked over to a spot setting them down as well. "It seems like we may have rain tonight and I want you guys to stay warm and dry." She nods at them, walking over to a chair and sitting down. Staring at the sky.

Dallas tilted his head, looking over at her with his eyebrows raised. He wasn't used to kindness. "I'll keep that in mind, but I wouldn't want to intrude on your hospitality. " He nodded quietly, rubbing Buck's ears and watching her move around. He smiled faintly at her concern, turning his gaze back to the sky. "I can hold my own pretty well against a little rain. Thanks, though." He chuckled, closing his eyes for a moment.

"No. You are staying here for tonight atleast." She said firmly. She really didn't want Dallas hurt, for all she knew, he could be the last person she'd see for the rest of ever. She didn't want to be alone so soon again.... Plus, Buck's really cute. She sat down on the ground, rubbing her temples. "Sorry, for that outburst..." SHe murmured, looking up at him with a sad look.

Dallas raised his eyebrows, slightly intimidated by the sudden demand. He raised up slightly on his arms, tilting his head at her with slightly narrowed eyes. "Noted. Guess I'm staying for tonight, at least." He shrugged, joking slightly. After, he laid back down and gave a small sigh, gently moving Buck off his chest before he sat up. "It's fine." He brushed the apology off lighter, glancing around for a few moments before he brought his gaze to her face and registered the sad look. He paused for a moment, then broke into a small smile. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" He chuckled quietly, looking back at the sky momentarily.

"Since?" She asked, a bit confused. She did feel pretty bad at snapping at him but he seemed to not be to effected by it. - (I don't really know what to add sorry.)

It's no problem)) "Since the... apocalypse, I guess. I haven't spoken to another person in so long I'm pretty sure I forgot how to hold a conversation. Sorry if I'm not... the most sociable. Or easy to talk to. I'm rusty, I guess." He shrugged, standing and walking back and forth across the roof to stretch his legs. Buck yawned and trotted over to Robin so he could curl up.

-Oh.- She thinks. "It's fine.... I haven't talked to someone in a while as well...." She tells him, remembering her family, shaking her head, and sighing. She didn't want to think about that at the moment. "So, did you live around here?"She aasked, trying to shake herself from her thoughts.

Dallas nodded quietly, stepping onto the slightly raised edge of the roof and looking down at the ground and zombies below. "You're much better about it than I am, it seems." He shrugged, stepping back and walking to sit beside her. He settled his hands behind him, leaning back on them and looking at her with the question. "Yeah. Further into the suburbs. You?" He mirrored the question, trying to shove off the memories that came with home.

(Sorry for the late reply!) - "Riverside area...." She murmured, her parents had actually owned the most expensive and nicest house in Riverside. It was know for rich people, a gated community. She missed them, but pushed her feelings down with a hammer. Not letting them show. Or trying not to.
