Beau walked into the great hall and looked around. He sighed as he waved one of the maids over " Cara , there has been a poison spill in His Highness's bedchambers , we need a new board in the floor , and a scent placed to get rid off the smell " Beau said as the maid hurried towards him " If I might ask , why was there poison in the Prince's bedchambers " Cara asked curiously " If you want to know then you should ask His Highness" Beau said walking away dismissively .

Charles waits until his adviser appears at his door. He then explains to him why there is a hole in the floor and the situation that is happening. "Well your Highness this does seem like an act of treason on the king's behalf," the adviser states, "it would be best for you to accuse him of treason and use this act as one of your main pieces of evidence."

(Can we do a time shift to later in the day during the prince's battle training ?) Beau walked into the Royal gardens looking around . His eyes caught on the beautiful multicoloured morning glory flowers . He almost cried at the sight of their accidental beauty Edited at October 24, 2023 10:03 PM by Sage Breeding

(Sure, let's just say that he confronted his father about the accident and the court put his father under major watch or something) ~ Charles made his way to the training area, as he had battle training to attend to. Once there he was assisted into some chain-mail armor before he picked up a sword and begun training. He was light on his feet like always but seemed to drift in and out of focus, as the topic from yesterday kept coming up in his mind.

Beau walked to the training hall knowing the prince would be needing medical assistance by the end of the battle session .After he walked into the hall he stopped leaning against the wall, his eyes glided over to the prince as he walked in . He has such a good body structure Beau thought I can practically see the bones moving under his muscles . Beau sighed as he saw His Majesty the King walk into the room then he straightened to his full height , as he saw that he was standing dressed in full battle armour . Is he planning on challenging his son? Beau thought .

Charles was talking to one of the guards, since he usually trained with them, until he heard loud footsteps behind him. He turned around to see his father stand in front of him a few feet away in full armor. "What is the meaning of this father," he questions the King as he hears a hush fall over the area and everyone's eyes land on them. "Since your little doctor had to foil my first plan," the King says, glancing towards Beau, "it looks like I'll have to take things into a more physical approach." The King then tosses one of his gauntlets onto the ground and, after a bit of hesitation, Charles picks it up, a sign that he has accepted the challenge. The King marched off to his side of the arena while Charles quickly went to put armor on.

Beau held his breath as the prince walked back into the room clad in armour .

Charles was given a sword, which he swung slightly to make sure it was good enough for him. He then went to the opposite side of the arena, waiting as one of the guards gave a count down to them. To say that Charles was nervous was an understatement, he was absolutely terrified. Never in a million years had he imagined to have to fight his father for the thrown. Once the countdown finished the two lunged at each other and the sound of metal hitting metal filled the arena, along with a few shouts from the crowd that had begun to form.

Beau eyes flashed to and fro to try and keep up with the battle . Then he heard a terrible roar and he saw the prince had his father's sword stuck in a kink in his armour . Beau sighed he knew that if the prince survived the battle , that it would leave a massive wound from him to clean and dress.

Charles glanced down at the wound but knew that he had to act quickly or else his father would take advantage of him. He slammed his elbow into the side of the King's helmet, causing him to be knocked to the side a bit. Charles carefully removed the blade before throwing it a bit away. The two fought a bit more until Charles landed a hard blow and the King fell to the ground. He watched his father before putting the tip of his blade to is neck. "I yield," the King said hoarsely from behind the helmet.
