Kennedy nodded as the man answered her question after he finished she really didn't have any other questions at that point so she let Caden speak. As Caden spoke to Billy she just thought about the information she got, there was only one option that made sense to her. That was that someone had to know she was going to be going down this alley at this time or it was just a random crime act but that one really didn't make sense. Kennedy went back to listening to Billy "And we get that justice for her sir... For now please go home and rest, that is what you need" She said softly to him with a sympathetic smile

Bully nods and said " oh and the husband of the friend he does drink and do drugs I do believe he was out last night " caden said " oh okay sir thank you " Billy nods and walks away before Caden said " the guy he mentioned could be a suspect in killing her " as he looks back before saying " but let's get the camera videos before going to interviews the friends " as he walks over to his car and open the passenger back seat and looks through a file that a cop made for them that way they didn't have lot of paper work waiting at the police station

Kennedy nodded and took note of the man Billy talked about. She turned to Caden nodding again "I agree we need to look into the friends husband a bit more" She said following him over to the vechile "Okay... How long will it take to get a warrant to collect the videos?" Kennedy asked while peering over Cadens shoulder looking at the file they had gotten from the officers.

Caden said " about five hours if we go now or a week since of court coming up with other cases " as he sighed and place the file down and said " lad we don't have to write much thanks to some of the cops doing that for us " as he watches the area around him then Caden said " wanna head to the court now before then or wait a bit longer " as he was handing the case to her making her boss and he hope she realized that since she was new he had to lossen up a bit on being a man if people knew what he means. Caden fixes his badge and then leans against the car

Kennedy inwardly frowned not liking the fact it might take a full week to get a simple warrant. "Yeah I'm glad we don't either" She said taking a step back away from Caden and scanning the scene again, there really wasn't much left for them to investigate until they got the footage "Let's head to court since we're basically done here" Kennedy answered as she started flipping through the file making sure the paperwork the officers had done looked correct

Caden nods and said " yeah lets " as he got in and waited for her while looking at the scene and wonders if this guy got a peek at his mothers murder book but then again no one was allowed in the police station only if they were arrested and closely keeped a eye on Caden started the car and said " it this the first time doing a case or did you do it in other states " as he looks at her before backing out and heading towards the court which was a ways since it wasn't in front of the police station like everyone would want it

Kennedy hopped up in the Suv still flipping through the file, as Caden started the car she closed it with a small sigh and looked out the window at the scene one last time. "It's my first actual murder case but I've worked multiple other small cases before with petty crimes" She said still looking out the window but turned her gaze to Caden "The city crimes are definitely a lot more violent and complicated rather than ones from my small town" Kennedy commented as she wondered how long it would take to get to the court house

Caden nods and said " yeah i understand that it actually a lot easier to solve more case if in small town in stead of a big town like NY " before he paid attention to the road as he drove along but it took like 45 minutes to get to the court house and he pulls in and parks,turing off the car and got out before he waited for her to get out that way he doesn't just go ahead and walk in like before time when he had no partner, Caden opens the court house door and said " after the warrent we can go back the police station and do somethings while waiting for the warrent to come in

Kennedy turned her gaze back out the window "Mhm it is, everyone always knew or at last say something so it took less than a week to solve a case which was great" She added before going silent so Caden could focus on driving, she grew a bit restless during the almost hour it took to get to the court house. When they finally did arrive Kennedy got out of the Suv and stretched finally happy to be out of the vehicle. Kennedy followed Caden up to the court house door "Sounds like a good plan to me" She said walking into the main lobby

Caden walks in and down the hall before saying " would like to speak to judge Kenny please" the guy said " come this way " Caden follows looking around then at kennedy hoping she was following before making it to the office and he lets them in before closing the door and Caden said " sir i would like to get a warrent as soon as possible it for looking at some camera footage " Kenny said " alright is it for a case or not" Caden said " for a case that just came out today " Kenny said " oh the girl poor girl how she was killed like your mother was Caden maybe it was a sign to stay away from that case" Caden said " it is nothing to do with my mother lets just leave it at that why don't we"
