Quinn finally got rather tired... so she glanced at the books one more time before putting them aside and laying back in the bed. She stared up at the ceiling for a couple moments, thinking. -What if Rain really is a hybrid...?- Quinn wondered, her eyes closing as she drifted off to sleep after hearing a long wolf howl. (Adding that in haha. Is it okay if I skip time, or do you want to play the night?)

(We can skip it.) Tyra was awake the next morning, asleep on the floor while Rain and atleast four other wolves were piled on top of her. She grumbled, struggling to remove herself from the doggy pile before finally managing it with a sharp hiss that quickly awoke the slumbering werewolves, who didn't immediately change back. They never did. They'd always come to her house like this right before the full moon, fully expecting her to take care of them, and knowing she would regardless. Even Rain turned into a child, and it was evident in the way he pouted at her from her doorway, staring a piece of bacon that was sizzling on the stove. " No, bad boy. That ones mine." She huffed, giggling when he grumbled and flipped on to the floor lazily. Edited at May 13, 2023 06:14 PM by Nebula Stables

Quinn woke up slowly, her brain fuzzy from the events before. She wondered if that even happened... then glanced at her hand, which was all bandaged up. -Yep, iit happened- Quinn thought, hauling herself out of bed. She rumaged through her tiny closet and grabbed a clean t-shirt, this time a darker grey. Quinn threw it on and brushed her thick hair before gathering it up into a pony tail. She then put on some bootcut jeans that were dark blue, grabbing her black leather jacket and throwing that on top. Then Quinn wilted slightly as she realized Tyra might still be mad at her... which meant another lonely day of wandering around in the woods. Well, if Tyra did see her, at least Tyra would be proud Quinn wasn't wearing all black. Quinn sheathed her dagger and sighed, not bothering to eat. She stepped outside and got ready for her morning walk, pacing down the streets until she got to the path leading out to the forest. Quinn walked through the dappled shadows, observing everything and thinking about Rain.. even though she didn't really know why

" Hm...how about you boys go for a run? It's early, surely no one will be up for atleast a few more minutes." She assured them, all of the wolves howling at her as she snickered and led them to the front door. After making sure the coast was clear she opened the door, letting them run out and towards the path she'd taken Quinn the previous day. Rain stayed behind though, his hands in his pockets as he slumped against her side." What's wrong, you big oaf?" She asked , running a hand through his hair, giggling when he nuzzled closer to her cheek." Your too wolf-y when your tired." She sneered, but didn't hesitate to nuzzle him back as they watched the others run around. It was then that Rain leaned away from her, sniffing the air. That was normal, but what wasn't normal was the sudden growl he let out, making everyone freeze." Quinn is here. We need to leave."

Quinn froze, hearing a couple faint whines... then a growl. "Oh yay, a whole wolf pack is hunting now..." She muttered. Her brain immeditely dashed to Rain, but she pushed that thought away. Quinn wasn't scared... but she needed the exercise. She jumped up, grabbing a hold of a branch then pulled herself the rest up the way up. Quinn then proceeded to half walk half jump from tree to tree Edited at May 13, 2023 07:21 PM by Wild Warmbloods

Rain growled and stayed where he was on the pathway as Tyra rushed the wolves quickly to the house again, pushing them out into the open backyard. She warned them to be quiet before returning to Rain's side, who kept looking up at the trees, his eyes narrowed. " What's wrong?" She asked quietly.
"I can hear her...I hear her in the trees, and I hear her breathing. She's getting closer."

Quinn heard another growl... but closer. "Okay, maybe I should act like a normal human and walk along the ground... away from the growls." Quinn muttered to herself. She did drop down to the ground, but she felt something pulling her towards the sound. Did she just want to know? Quinn tried to keep quiet but she was only human, so that only worked so far.

Rain gritted his teeth, turning to push Tyra towards a tree." Climb it, I'll pretend I'm trying to help you down." He huffed, urging the girl to hurry, which she did with a groan and a small huff as she finally plopped on a tree branch. "Oh no, rescue me." She said nonplussed, snickering at Rain who glared up at her, trying not to growl when Quinn was so close." Do it right." He muttered through gritted teeth, much to her amusement.

Quinn heard Rain's and Tyra's voices by now. They obviously didn't want her anywhere near... and if Rain really was a hybrid and those growls came from him... the thought sent a slight shiver through Quinn's spine. She changed direction and headed back home, tryng ot to cast a glance behind her. Was Tyra really still mad? She was acting an awful lot like a cat... glowing yellow eyes... sharp looking fangs... no, that was silly. If Quinn could only make friends with Rain And Tyra, fine... they weren't normal just for wanting to be friends with her, and at this moment Quinn was pretty sure they both hated her. She started jogging and entered her house, taking out her sadness by continuing to clean.

" Is she coming or what? This branch is going places I don't like right now." Tyra huffed after a minute, and Rain lifted his nose to sniff before shaking his head. "She's gone." He said, moving away so the girl could jump down. Normally a jump from that high would break someone's legs, but not hers. She'd always had a habit of landing on her feet." You should go talk to her. She was crying the other day, and I think she's lonely."
Tyra pouted, but straightened up when Rain glared at her. He knew just how well that girl could hold a grudge, and he wouldn't let her do it now, or ever again if he could help it. "Go." He huffed, nudging her in the direction he last could smell the other girl.
