He smiled even more at her crying over her allowance being taken away. "Oh calm down," he says, "if you are lucky your parents will spoil you even more once you leave. I doubt they will even remember where the money went because they will just earn it back." Roger was slightly surprised at her mention of the price being low, but didn't show his reaction. "I mean I could have," he says, "but there is an amount of money that even rich people will decline. So I figured that a decent 20 grand would be enough for them to send. And if they don't then I will keep you for a little longer, raise the price, and wait. If they don't then, well.. You better say your prayers."

~ Brooklyn supposed Roger's statement to be true, her parents wouldn't be going over their limit. She didn't exactly know what that limit was but it was less than a million. "When you get your money what do you plan on doing with it." Brooklyn hummed quietly to herself. "Sorry, another question, when do I get to eat, and sleep, I don't think you will be untying me on the first night. Oh and when do I get to use the bathroom? Or do you have to trust me enough that until then I cant?" Brook looked up expectantly. The rope around her hands scratched at her back and she snarled and struggled against the chair. She groaned, frustrated and glared at Roger.

He shrugged, "Usually I use it to pay for bills and stuff. Then I send it to the bank. They sometimes question the amounts that I send in but I just shrug it off with something like a big paycheck or something along those lines." "You will eat when I do and sleep when I say," he says, "then you just have to ask for the restroom. But like you guessed you won't have a lot of freedom for this being your first night, so don't expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter like you are used to." Roger didn't seem to care about her glare about the rope bothering her.

~ "That's just," Brooklyn stuttered, "That's just unfair!". "I won't take you up on that thank you very much. I have the freedom to eat and sleep as I please! It keeps up my image, you wouldn't want that to be flawed now would you?" she was far to perfect even have the sheer suggestion of not having the freedom to have her beauty sleep. "Can you at least put me on the bed?! This chair is too hard and the rope you strangled me into is killing me!" the young woman pleaded. Though the bed itself didn't look that comfortable...it ought to be more comfortable that this piece of crap right? Brooklyn huffed and looked to the ceiling, she would have crossed her arms but they were kind of tied behind her back...

'Did I really have to choose this one,' he thinks, 'she is such a crybaby. Spoiled for her whole life no doubt.' He thought for a moment before smiling slightly. "What would you give me if I did give you some more... privileges," he asks, "and don't say money. I want something other than that, since I'm already getting some from your parents." Roger didn't know exactly what he was hoping she would give him, but he wanted to hear her offers. 'Who knows a pretty girl like her could give me something,' he thinks.

~ Brooklyn quirked her eyebrow and squinted. "Um, I don't know? I will give up pretty much anything for having a bit more freedom." what exactly was he suggesting? After thinking for a while she sighed, she was confused, and stressed, not to mention, angry with this man. Whom she had just met...actually, how long was she asleep for? She cleared her throat, "Well if not money what could I offer or give to you?". "Can you just put me on the bed? I cant think about things easier when I'm comfortab-" Brooklyn shut her mouth and inhaled, 'Oh god, why does it sound like I'm suggesting something?'. She went stiff, "when Im comfortable.", Brook's gaze went to the floor. Humming she felt her face get hot, gosh dang it. 'No, no, no! Don't blush for him, you stupid girl! He fricken kidnapped you!' her conscience was screaming at her, she continued to hum.

He tilted his head to see the girl's reddening face and smirked. "Aw- all flustered are we," he asks in a teasing tone, "something else on your mind girly? You want to explain what you are thinking perhaps?" Roger had initially no idea what the girl could give him in return. 'She didn't exactly have anything valuable on her,' he thinks, 'so I was just going to have her figure something out. But it seems her mind has decided on a different thing to give me.' After a moment of thought he stood and untied her from the chair. Roger wasn't worried on her trying to escape since the door was locked from the outside and there were no windows in the room. Then, with absolutely little effort, he swept her off of her feet and carried her over to the bed. 'It's probably not as luxurious as she has slept in,' he thinks, 'but it's at least a normal bed. I'm not that mean to me victims... Well not all of the time anyway.'

~ Brooklyn rolled her eyes as Roger spoke, "No thank you, I don't think I would care to tell you.". Yes, something had been on her mind...but she figured it to most likely be a 'no' for him. And she was perfectly fine with that. Brooklyn watched as the blond man came over and untied her hands, once they were untied she sighed. But when he picked her up she yelped in surprise, and again when he placed her on the bed. She felt around on the bed and jumped a couple of times before nodding, "This is decent enough.". Brook paused and then unclipped something from the back of her neck, "Something of value, well, at least for me." she handed out the necklace. It was a simple silver heart with her birthstone inside. "My best friend gave it to me...right before she got into a car crash...," Brooklyn glanced at the necklace, "Take it, it's the only valuable thing I have on me right now. It's not money.". She rolled onto her back and sighed, looking up at the ceiling. Edited at April 20, 2023 08:53 PM by Mystic Waters Stable

Roger placed her on the bed, kind of gently surprisingly, and stood straight again. When told to take the necklace he didn't hesitate that much and took it from Brooklyn. He walked over to some more lighting to examine it. He doubted that it was fully made of silver, but you can never know until you get it tested. He also noted that the stone inside of it wouldn't be too valuable either. He looked at the time on a pretty old clock on the wall and saw that it was nearing midnight. Roger kind of figured that the girl was probably getting hungry, but he didn't really care. 'I'll feed her tomorrow,' he thinks, 'she won't starve over night. besides I have gone longer without food.' Usually when he had a victim he would stay up all night the first few nights with them to make sure they don't try anything. He wouldn't eat anything either until he decided to give them food. Then when he left them in the room alone he would stay near the basement door to be able to hear if they were trying to do something. As he sat back down in his chair, which he had moved a slight bit closer, his mind wandered to the fact of what the girl may have been thinking. He quickly pushed that thought away though, since he couldn't get that close to his victim.

Brooklyn folded her arms as Roger examined the necklace, "Well, I can always take it back if it's not expensive enough for you. It's the only thing I have on me except for my clothes. And no, I do not want to take off my clothes, thank you very much." the young woman chuckled to herself. "Will I get to eat? Or are you starving me too?" Brooklyn lay down, resting her head on the pillow of "her" bed. Who knows how many people have slept in this bed, she sat up abruptly and looked at the blond man "You do wash these sheets, don't you?" she looked around the bed for dirt or bed bugs, but she didn't see anything, hm. Laying her head back down on the pillow she sighed, ' My parents will send 20 grand to him for me back...right?' her father has been so carried up with work lately that he might just pass over the note Roger had sent as another request to help out the needy or something...which he didn't really care about. 'But I am needy!' her mom on the other hand was pretty much decoration for his business, she didn't get to make any deals or help out...
