Sage sort of had assumed who's horse it was, which was why he'd stayed further away from her. His father would probably kill him if the girl was let in on some of his secrets. He looked up at the moon and sighed. It would be a full moon soon. He winced at the thought and shuddered slightly. That was never fun ....and no one could know, because the king used his wolf form to blame a lot of things on. It was untrue, of course, since he couldn't even morph fully, but oh well. He couldn't exactly change that. He sort of wandered around with chaos for a bit, not realizing he'd wandered closer to where his finacé was until he froze and looked around. She was close, and he sort of tried to shuffle backwards quietly, though with a horse that was difficult.

Quinn knew Sahara wouldn't go far, and she most likely would follow Wuinn so Quinn crept forward through the brush, following where the prince had gone. She got close enough so she could see where he dismounted, and watched. She stayed perfectly silent, and with her black clothes she looked like a shadow. Suddenly she heard rustling behind her and she scrambled out of the way, gasping as Sahara trotted past her and stopped, looking at Chaos in plain sight of the prince. "There goes secrecy." She muttered, glaring at the back of her horse.

Sage whirled around when he heard something, tensing up and curling his shoulders up with a growl, quite similar to a wolf. When he noticed what it was, he relaxed and sighed, releasing Chaos, who was quite eager to meet his new friend. "Goodness knows my horse will have a better love life than me," he half grumbled to himself before cocking his head and then grunting. "I can hear your breathing," he told the girl ....Quinn? He turned to her and shrugged. "Wolf," he explained, though it was obvious he didn't exactly enjoy being part wolf. Edited at March 22, 2023 02:59 PM by NightClan

She tipped her head as he growled. She was already standing, watching and listening to what he said. "Wolf. Explains a lot." She said boldly, striding forward. She glanced at her horse, muttering something in its ear. Her horse whinnied and looked at Chaos again. "So what is your name?" She demanded

Sarcasm had tinted her voice. She decided that if this boy told her mother, she would get after him. Then again, she would get a terrible whipping from her mother... Quinn looked at Sahara, who was currently nuzzling Chaos. She rolled her eyes.

Sage wrinkled his nose slightly. "Did they not tell you," he asked. He shook his head after that and then shrugged. "Sage," he hummed. "I take it you don't know much about what you're getting into?" He shot a glare at chaos when he nudged him and then patted the horse. He really didn't mind the action...it was sweet, actually.

"No, they didn't. My parents told my nothing except your family was rich." She said, her voice tinted with anger and sadness. "And I don't care, as long as it means I know who I'm being forced to marry! She looked at Chaos, then laughed.

Sage shrugged slightly and grunted again. "That does explain why you hate me like you'd hate anyone else and not like you should," he hummed in a rather sarcastic manner when talking about how much she should hate him. "Well, dad is rich. I'm just kind of here," muttered. "My mom was a werewolf," he told her. "That's why I could hear you...I have higher senses that average or whatever the heck happened there," he huffed. Quinn whispered so,etching to Sahara, who promptly went and stood by Chaos. "That is not what I meant and you know it." She muttered under her breath, frowning. She forgot for a moment Sage was there.

Something-) "Who said I hate you?" She looked at him, her dark green eyes gazing into his. "And I think you are lucky to be part werewolf. Well, I don't mean that in a bad way since it causes you pain every day but I think you are unique." Quinn said quietly, feeling half sorry for him and half just wanting to be his friend since it was clear he had none. Then again, she had none also.
