"Water" she said and grabbed a cup to fill.

elijah watches and said " okay " then lends on his side and watches her and said " tell me how did you heard about this job" eelijah was trying to figure it out

"Oh! A friend from Accounting told me about a reception job and I was looking for a well paying job after I left my old city in Germany." She said cheerfully, taking a sip of her water.

elijah nods and said " why did you leave germany and not stay" elijah saw how happy she looks and smiles himself before going back to normal and grabs a glass himself and filled it with water

"I left because of my ex-girlfriend. She was really toxic and I just didn't want to be anywhere near her ever again. And my family lives here so I thought I'd move back." She shrugged and took another sip.

elijah said " that horrable sorry to hear that hope you find someone else then her" elijah token a sip of his glasss and sighed said " what did you use to do in germany"

She smiled, "I worked for a contracting company but never got to build anything because I was, again, just a receptionist. But I'm here to stay and get promotions over the years." She adjusted her position to face him more.

elijah said " did you like being there " elijah want to know more about her before taking her to his parents or a party at least that but most of all to see why she came here

"I was very happy, I mean the scenery was to die for but I couldn't be near Dana anyore. We just werent meant for eachother and thats ok. I'd rather be single and happy sometimes than in a toxic relationship that made me unhappy. And like I said, My parents live here and It's nice being closer to them" She smiled again with hope in her eyes.

elijah said " well i hope you stay happy and never be unhappy again" elijah looks at his watch and sighed he had a meeting to go to before home then looks at her and said " who is your family"
