The girl shook her head at him and stuck her tongue if response. "Let's be honest. You were just being distracting," she chuckled lightly before looking back at the doctor. "But he did help make the meatballs. And licked the brownie spoon clean," she laughed with a slight hum before starting do dig into her food. "We made brownies," she then added with an exited type of hop. "I had to fight him to keep him away from the tray, the silly thing," she laughed as she popped a meatball into her mouth. "You're his 'dad' you should be the one telling him off for it!" She told the old man with a laugh.

Sage snorted and rolled his eyes, snickering slightly and he started eating. "She chased me around with a spatula," he hummed. "She distracted herself there." The doctor snorted and shook his head before wrinkling his nose slightly. "Maybe I am, but he'd an adult," he grumbled. "Yet somehow he still manages to act exactly like Att," he huffed, much to Sage's amusement. "Att is quite fun," he hummed. "You should be pleased I'm so happy." The doctor rolled his eyes and just took another bite of food. "You're both weird," he finally grunted, resulting in a snicker from sage.

Mari chuckled as she listened to the two and rolled some of the spaghetti around her fork for a moment or two before shoving it in her mouth. She scowled at the doctor as she chewed before forcing herself to swallow it down. "He's the weird one," she huffed, rolling her eyes at the man with a small snicker. Soon enough, the girl had finished off and went to collect the plates from everybody then came back and flopped down on the couch as she waited for both Sage and the good doctor to finish up. "Brownies, soon," she stated, a slight smile tugging across her face at the thought.

The doctor hummed and shook his head. "No, I believe you both are," he hummed. "You certainly won't see me chasing him around with a spatula." Sage snorted at that and nodded. "No, but you'll chase me around with a bar of soap," he muttered, to which the doctor flared at the boy. He snickered again, and then gave the girl a grin when she mentioned brownies. "I should get an extra one since you hit me with a spatula," he giggled, really just joking around. Although, he probably would steal another one anyway.

Mari shook her head to him and rolled her eyes. "Maybe you should have none considering you touched them when I told you not to," she hummed to the boy with a slightly cocked head and a thoughtful look. "What do you think, doctor? I hear sugar isn't very good for you anyway. Not very good for you mental health if you get a stomach ache, now is it Sage?" She asked with a cocked head and tease in her voice. "And I did warn you not to touch them, didn't I? I said I'd beat you!" She told him in a fake kind of defensive manner before taking the plates off the two of them and putting them away before wandering over to the couch and offering her hands to Sage to help him up, though was looking over her shoulder to the doctor. "Would you like cream or anything with your brownies or are you good?" She asked with a cocked head.

Sage rolled his eyes as the girl berated him playfully before grinning and shrugging. "I'd just steal one then," he chuckled casually. "Maybe sweets are good for my mental health because it makes me happy," he chirped. The doctor just watched them screw around with amusement, then shook his head when the girl asked him what he wanted. "I'm good," he hummed. "Just the brownie is fine." Sage got up, using the hands that were offered to him, and then followed the girl over to the cart.

Mari nodded to the man with a bit of a smile when he answered her. She'd put a bit of cream on the sides for everyone else... there was still a pretty high chance of people choking on the brownies if they came out dry. Though, she didn't think that would be the case. Of course she wasn't going to stop the boy from eating the brownies... they were going to be good, she was sure of it. And he'd helped so there was no way she'd stop him. She huffed and lead the boy over to the cart and put his hand on the bar at the front. "Well then you can push the trolly," she told him with a bit of a pout.

Sage chuckled but groaned, shaking his head slightly. "Fine," he huffed. "I definitely get two brownies then," he huffed. He put his other hands on the trolley and began to push it around to the patients as Mari handed out plates. Once they'd finished that, they brought the cart back to the doctor's office, they grabbed one for themselves, and he handed one to the doctor before sitting down in the couch with his own dessert.

The girl pouted at him after a moment or so and rolled her eyes. "Fine. You can have two then," she murmured. Once she was settled on the couch, she kind of just pulled her legs up to her chest and put the plate on the side before digging into the brownie... it was good, very good, which was definitely a relief. She was tired now... she wasn't sure why, but it hadn't been a particularly busy day, not at all, and she'd slept in. Well, she supposed she'd just wash up and have an early night. She was staying in the castle anyway, so she would be there if anything needed doing.

Sage chuckled and glanced in the pan. "There's plenty of leftovers, so seconds would be fine," he hummed. The girl and the doctor could have another one too ... Because the brownies were delicious. He wasn't quite sure how he had survived all these years without having eaten a brownie. "I think you're gonna have to make these more often," he chuckled to the girl, which resulted in an amused (and rather loud) snort from the good old doctor. No doubt it was amusing for the man. Once he'd finished and lay back on the couch, he realized how tired he was....he'd hadn't done this much stuff in a long time. The doctor watched them for a moment before chuckling. "You both look like you need a week's worth of sleep," he chuckled. "Put the fished in the kitchen and then go to bed. Don't bother washing them tonight."
