The girl nodded lightly to the boy. "Yeah, go grab one from the pantry," she hummed lightly before sending him off. She then went to set up a couple of bowls and put some of the spaghetti in a pan of boiling water. They shouldn't take too long, so they could make the brownie mix and get it out the oven once they'd all eaten the actual meal. The spaghetti took just under an hour to make and cook so it shouldn't take all that long. She got a couple of tomato's out and starting to mince them, then did the same thing with the beef... they could make the mince and sauce for everyone else then do the meatballs in a little bit. The girl made up a bit of stock and chucked everything in a frying pan next to the pan with spaghetti in it to cook. She chucked the tomato's in and diced up some carrots and onion before chucking it all in the pan. It'd take a little while to cook all the way though, especially considering it was all fresh. "Found a recipe yet?" She called though to the pantry.

Sage nodded and slipped off into the pantry to find a recipie that sounded good. He rummaged around for a few minutes, since it was find of a mess. "Yeah," he called back to the girl, popping his head out and handing it to her. "The mix is in the back, so I'll be back unless I fall and something lands on me and I die," he joked, though it wasn't all that inaccurate. Though, soon enough he emerged with the box of mix and set it on the table before going to get some other ingredients.

The girl rolled her eyes at him when he made his little joke but chuckled anyway and wandered over to rummage though the box... it was a whole little set, with bowls and trays and all sorts of things. She eventually found a little sheet of ingredients and a recipe and nodded lightly. It shouldn't take too long to put the mix together. "Looks good," she chirped as she looked to the boy. "I say we get the mix done and in the oven, then make the meatballs up. Whatcha think?" She asked with the biggest grin.

Sage nodded with a grin when the girl suggested what they should do, and reached for the recipie to glance through it, before reaching for the first few ingredients. "Sounds like a plan to me," he hummed. "This shouldn't take too long. " He was enjoying cooking with the girl ...he enjoyed cooking occasionally anyway, but this was just really fun for some reason. He didn't put much thought into it though, as he didn't particularly care what he was feeling as long as it wasn't bad feelings. He was definitely excited to try them too ..if the girl liked it, then it had to be good. Well, at least, that's what he thought. And hoped.

The girl nodded lightly to him, and they both got to work with their food... it wouldn't take long at all. It didn't. They got everything sorted fairly quickly... she weighed up sauger and flower and everything else and she had Sage mix it all up. Once it was smooth, she got a little baking tray out and had him pour the mixture onto it. "Then they should bake for about half an hour. We can get our spaghetti all sorted the. Take them out to cool!" She chirped brightly to the boy as she ran her pinkie finger around the edge of the bowl to taste the mixture... which, to be honest, they should have probably done before. She gave a type of happy groan as she tasted it and then picked up the batter covered spoon and handed it to Sage. "Try that! It's so good," she hummed in a type of delighted purr before taking the bowl and started to wash it up. They could clean as they went. "Would you mince some of the beef, please? Then we could put them into meetballs and have. Them cook for a bit."

Sage took the spoon with a shrug when the girl practically shoved it in his mouth herself. He licked the tip of the spoon and his eyes widened slightly. It was really good...the girl was right. He finished the spoon quickly, more impatient than ever for the brownies to be done. He nodded and tossed the spoon in the sink and grabbed the mincer, but not before taking a bit if brownie goop and wiping it off on the tip of the girls nose with a giggle. "Sounds good," he laughed, scurrying over to the table before the girl could retaliate.

The girl gave a bit of a squeak when the boy wiped the brownie mix onto her nose, her eyes kind of crossing as she tried to look at it. By then, she had her hands in a bowl of soapy water as she cleaned up, so she couldn't exactly move to retaliate. She kind of sat there with the brownie in her nose for a moment or so before turning and flicking water at the boy with a childish giggle. Once she'd cleaned up, the girl went to put the bowls away and dry her hands before wiping the mix off her nose and popping it into her mouth with another delighted type of noise. "Those are gonna be so good!" She chirped exited before going to grab a couple of herbs from small plants on the window cill and dicing them up. Once Sage had minced the beef, she wandered over and put the little bowl down. She grabbed a little handful and patted it down until but she had was flat, the put a little pinch of herbs on it before kneading it in then rolling it into a little bowl. "And that's how we make our meatballs," she hummed to the boy before putting them on a tray. She made a couple more then looked to Sage with a cocked head as she waited for him to finish his.

Sage giggled again and gave the girl a sort of devilish look when she couldn't make a move besides flick a bit of water at him, which he could easily avoid by hiding under the table for a moment. He nodded at the girl's chirp and then quickly copied her movements to make the meat balls. He made around ten ish, knowing the doctor might want a few as well. "I'll let the doctor have some too," he hummed. "He probably just doesn't want to have to deal with someone choking while he tries to eat," he chuckled. He was glad he'd decided to tag along with the girl though...they'd had a good time.

The girl nodded lightly to him and gave a small smile. "It's about that time when he starts getting hangry... he might actually kill someone rather than save them if they start to choak while he's eating," she mused with a slight shake of the head. She went to grab a block of cheese and a greater and started grating it into a small bowl... some of the patients rather liked cheese, and they'd told her a few times now, so she always made sure to grate a little up for them. But there was enough for everyone if they wanted it now. She looked over at the oven that had the brownies in, and grinned to the boy. "I think they might be ready. Want to get them out and I'll start putting plates together?" She asked with a big smile.

Sage chuckled and nodded, imagining the doctor strangling a patient while they were choking because they interrupted his meal. It might not be too far off. But, no, he knew the doctor would save anyone who needed him....well, at least in the castle. He nodded and wandered over to the oven to check the brownies when the girl mentioned them, and then grabbed a towel and grabbed them. He put them on top of the oven to cool, though he kinda just wanted to reach out and grab them now more than ever...they smelled really, really good.
