The girl shook her head with a bit of a chuckle. She saw no reason to ask for more chores... it was about four in the afternoon now, and she needed to get dinner on in the next couple of hours. "Yeah, we can go and shop," she chuckled lightly. It was technically a part of her job... it they didn't have any food, then they couldn't eat, so they would have to go out no matter the case. "Let me go get cleaned up and changed then we can get going," she hummed as she went to wash her hands off. "Meet me at the gates in about fifteen minutes?" She kind of told him before making her way to her little quarters. She had a few belongings there... a few dresses and skirts, and a couple of little bits to make it a bit more... homely. She quickly got changed into something less... work stained, which consisted of a long navy skirt and a white blouse, and a dark jumper of sorts. It was so simple, but they were out in the streets and she didn't really care if this got a bit dirty. She then went to the gates with a big basket in hand, which had a small shopping list and a charcole pencil at te bottom as she waited for the boy.

Sage chuckled and nodded, waving the girl off. He didn't really have anything to do while he waited for the girl, since he could care less if his clothes were dirty, and, well...he didn't exactly have another outfit. Well, he had the formal attire, but he wasn't going to wear that out and about...even he knew not to do that. Eventually he popped his head in the doctors office and told the man where they were going, to which the doctor responded with his usual gruntbof agreement. Sage chuckled and wandered along to get to the gate, still avoiding the guards as he went, until he hopped up to the girl, a slight grin set on his face. "Ready," he chirped. He wondered what it would be like...he hadn't seen the place in a long time, and he'd never really been in the market place before.

The girl smiled and huffed lightly before standing up. "Come on them," she chirped... she didn't particularly like shopping, but Sage seemed excited... so she could try and be a little bit more upbeat about the whole thing for him. She tapped on one of the guards and asked him to let them out. To be honest, the could have probably gotten out by hopping over a broken old wall, but she didn't feel the want to do that, at all. They were allowed out in a moment or two, and they started wandering long a little path that took you around the slums and towards a slightly nicer bit of the village... well, as nice as it could get, it wasn't a super nice place as a whole. "What were you wanting for dinner? I have a little shopping list, but if there's anything you specifically want, then I get pick up some extra things," she told him with a light smile.

Sage followed the girl out and around, eyeing the guard wearily as he walked past them. He wasn't sure why...he knew who they were and all. Maybe he was just a bit nervous going back out there, he really wasn't sure. Either way, he was glad to go do something anyway. He hummed slightly in response to the girls question and shrugged. "I'll leave the cooking to you. I don't care what you make, I'll eat anything," he hummed. He really wasn't picky...though he should get clothes. "I should get another outfit though I suppose," he sighed. He wasn't a big fan of shopping, but he didn't mind it so much either. After all, it was nice to shop and not have to steal stuff.

The girl nodded lightly in thought before settling on spaghetti... it was easy, and it meant that they could spend a little longer out here. "Do you want me to come with you? Or can you do it yourself?" She didn't mind... it wouldn't take long to pick up some food, and there were some nice shops around. "You can try a few things on and see what you like! There's a cute little shop not too far from here." The girl hummed as she got to a little shop filled with veggies. She handed the boy the basket and went ahead with filling it up... carrots, lettuce, basil and alike. Once done she went to give the man in the stand a little bag of cash. "Meat and then we can go do whatever you want," she hummed lightly.

Sage shrugged slighty in response to the girl's comment, following her around happily as he held the basket and she darted around grabbing all the groceries. "You can come if you want. I don't really have any fashion sense," he hummed. "I don't need much, just a few tunics and trousers. Shouldn't take too long." The girl could tag along if she wanted to...and she seemed to be having fun, so if she wanted to stay that was fine. He didn't really want to be alone either, so he'd be perfectly fine if she stayed. He nodded in response to her next comment and gave her a thumbs up when she mentioned meat. "Lead the way," he chirped.

The girl nodded lightly and made her way over to the meat man... she grabbed a big bag of beef and put in the basket before taking it off the boy. "Clothes shop? I don't need anything else now." She told him brightly as she started to make the way towards the little shop... it wasn't anything fancy, but it had what the boy needed which was good enough. She saw a little sweet stand on the way and stopped to pick up some butter tablet to share between the two of them. They didn't need it or anything, but it was a nice treat. "Here," she hummed as she gave a little block to him before popping one in her mouth before opening the door to the little shop. "Have a look around, I suppose."

Sage nodded and shrugged. 'i suppose so," he hummed. He didn't really enjoy it at all, or want to go clothes shopping, but he did need some clothes. And...maybe it was a good thing he had the girl with him if he wanted outfits to match or anything. He was really just planning on grabbing the first thing he saw, getting it, and leaving...but he had a feeling the girl wasnt going to let him get off that easily. He looked around for a few moments before huffing out a breath. "You'd think if I can decorate the entire castle for visitors I could pick out a decent outfit, but apparently not," he complained. Then he shrugged and just reached for the clothes next to him. "Whatever," he hummed. "Anything will do."

The girl gave a bit of a surprise look when he said he'd decorated the castle... she'd really thought the princess had done it. She remembered the queen saying it was a good task for the other girl. "You did that?! It was so pretty!" She told the boy with a grin. She then wrinkled her nose when he picked up the tunic next to him. "Sage... look at that for a moment," she hummed, pointing to the bright pink trim on the waist and neck. "You can't tell me you want that," she chuckled lightly before rolling her eyes and looking around for a little bit. She wasn't sure what kind of thing the boy would want... so she grabbed a couple of different button ups and tunic type pieces and put them on a little table. "Have a look through those and pick your favourite," she eventually hummed.

Sage shrugged slightly when the girl mentioned the castle and nodded absentmindedly. "It wast that much..just some streamers and paper and paints," he hummed. The. When she refused the shirt he blinked down at it, scanning it. A shirt was a shirt....he couldn care less what it looked like. He'd just get it messy either way. "A shirt is a shirt," he grumbled. But he obediently followed the girl around as wandered off towards the changing room. "Do you need to see all of them on me, too," he called over his shoulder in a rather teasing way. The girl really did remind him a lot of Anya ...she just was a bit more...blunt? Than the other girl. He slipped into the changing room with a shrug, not really caring.
