"I'm gonna take a guess and say we both think we said the wrong thing," He mused, scratching at the stubble growing along his jaw. Caden looked over at Iris's expression, noting she was quiet. (lmaooo me too) |

Iris let out a sort of groan and said through her hands, "Well I definitely did, you're fine." She wasn't at all sure what she'd said wrong but was sure she had, one way or the other. |

"Both have the same opinions, I think I messed up, you think you did." He noted, chuckling as the afternoon light shined through the blinds. |

"Of course not, I mean maybe if she hadn't tried to kill me--" He cut off, eyes widening slightly as he flicked his gaze away and rubbed the back of his neck as the realization of what he'd just said settled in. |

"She-- What? She tried to kill you?" Iris was aghast. He was probably exaggerating, but she hadn't known him to do that before... |
