I'm not sure if my theory is correct or if it was a bug that happened to me one time. I haven't been lucky with LC embryos so now I use straws to avoid the issue you're having

Ah maybe that's it. His profile shows as 5 foals this year, 2 embryos this year, but when going through the offspring there are 10 yearlings

Maybe it's this: if they have 5 LC foals but 10+ foals from embryos, maybe the game won't let you use an LC to make an embryo? I feel like I ran into that issue once, but I only use straws for embryos

"She's not a replacement, no horse could replace his heart horse. Again, I don't know the full story with Robyn, just bits and pieces of what he told me. And I won't push him." She stated. "He just wants another horse, but one to jump and personally train, and he's been looking at that mare. So, with his birthday being in a few days, perfect surprise."
