Caden took off his shirt and laid on the bed with his back up,as thats where the cuts were.As Rosa smeared the ointment on his back,he groaned as it felt like his back litterly had a fire on it. He took two of the painkiller tablets and drank some of the water before laying back down and letting Rosa continue with the ointment. |

Rosa applied the ointment with care, moving her fingers in gently circles to ensure the ointment was deep to do the most work it could. |

Caden Ortiz// Caden groaned in pain louder this time,as he was barely making it throught the pain of the ointment burning his cuts. "Rosa stop,please.It feels like my back is on fire right now.Give the pain medicine like,10 minutes to set in then you can rub the ointment in,ok?" |

Caden Ortiz// "No,no it's fine.But,I also need time to even snap back to reality and relize that he's not coming back which means I won't have to suffer getting whipped again.Or starved,or kicked,or yelled at,or told im a dissapointment.I just,I just need to comprehend that he's gone,and that im safe here." He paused letting his hand sit underneath his head. "Rosa it was horrible,it was horrible!He would'nt let me go anywhere,he would'nt let me do anything but get whipped,slapped,and kicked,and make him food." Caden broke down in tears as he admitted the truth. |

Rosa held Caden close, "shh, it's okay. You're okay now" s he says rocking him gently. "Would you like me to report him?" she asks, not wanting him to continue to suffer like this |

Caden Ortiz "No!" He snapped as he pulled back from Rosa. "He knows enough people who would track me down and make sure I suffered the most gruseome death." He said seriously. "That's what makes me fear him so much.Knowing one wrong move and I could be dead by morning with no trace of who killed me." Murphy stuck his nos on Caden's face,licking his tears. "Thanks Murph.Rosa,have I told you I love you recently?" He asks.Caden slipped his hoodie back off again so Rosa could rub the cream in eventually. |

Rosa flinches as Caden raises his voice. She nods, "I won't I promise" she tells him. Rosa picked up Mallow, absorbing his warmth. "Anything else you need?" she asks him, wanting him to be as comfortable as he could get right now. |

Caden Ortiz// "I only need you to rub that stuff on my back but,other then that I don't need anything.T-thanks though." Caden was still flinchy,nervous,and anxious from the visit from his father. His dreams would be haunted by nightmares,his thoughts haunted by the sound of the whip cracking against his skin. He snapped back to reality and smiled when Murphy demanded attention. |
