Sage chuckled softly in response to his comment. "It's meant for demons, who normally have a really, really high pain tolerance....if that didn't work nothing would," he mused tiredly. "Just don't get used to it. It has the nasty habit of burning you alive from the inside out if you take it too often," he warned him

Adrien hummed quietly.

"Lovely."

He murmured sarcastically, pulling Sage's hand up to his mouth and kissing it lightly.

"Thank you for getting me out of there..."

He said quietly.

Sage chuckled at Adrien's sarcastic comment and nodded. "I know. Can't have anything good in life," he chuckled before smiling over ta Adrien. "You help me and I help you. That's how this relationship thing works," he noted happily. "I'm just glad you're safe now," he admitted.

Adrien chuckled as he called it a relationship thing. That was true. He'd have to ask Sage to be his boyfriend when they weren't practically asleep again on the couch. He kissed Sage's hand again, holding it as he kissed it.

Sage sort of just grinned at Adrien sleepily, patting him on the head gently. "Good, I'm going back to sleep now," he noted with a chuckle before passing out again soon after that.

Adrien smiled gently and slowly got off the couch, picking up his soon-to-be-boyfriend. He brought him to his/their room and set him in bed, tucking him in. He went to take a shower, washing the blood off his body. He hoped when the pain med wore off, he wouldn't feel like he was dying again.

Sage didn't move when Adrien scooped him up othr than curling into the older boys chest happily. He woke maybe an hour later, and upon noting the shower was on, he smiled and poked his head into the bathroom. "You still alive in here," he joked lightly before closing the door behind him and undressing quickly, sliding in. "Scooch over and make room," he chuckled lightly.

Adrien did so, letting him come in with him. He wrapped his arms around the boys torso from behind, kissing his neck lightly as they stood in the shower. By now Adrien had gotten most of the blood off of him. He was still very sad and very disappointed he only had on le wing to wrap around Sage if he wanted.

Sage sort of grinned when Adrien welcomed him in, a light giggle coming from his mouth when he felt the other boys lips on his skin, and he cocked his head slightly, leaning lightly against Adrien's chest. "Yeah, you feel fine," he teased Adrien lightly

Adrien hummed against his skin. Placing another light kiss to his neck.

"Fine for now."

He murmured, switching sides and kissing over his tattoo, arms wrapped around his torso, holding him close.
