She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right. I'll believe it when I see it, your highness." She said sarcastically, letting him in and shutting the door behind him. Her bow was placed lightly by the door, the living room/library undisturbed since the last time they had spoken. "Welcome back to my humble abode." She smiled, walking into her kitchen quietly.

He rolled his eyes. He walked into the library area. "You're not here much, are ya?" He spun around, sitting down on one of her also undisturbed seats. A year was a long time to have not changed a single thing about your home. He was starting to wonder how hard she's taken it. Harder than he had, all things considered. He had a kingdom to keep him busy and she..had nothing. He clenched his jaw, regretting it all over again.

"No, not often." Kitty shrugged, setting about making herself some tea. "Would you like some tea?" She asked vaguely, her thoughts drifting back to the last time he had been there. She tried her best not to think about that, but it was hard sometimes. He had been the closest she had come to being in a relationship in... a long time. She grabbed a cup for herself amd waited for his answer to see if she should grab a second.

He looked up at her, trying not to think about it either. "Sure, thank you." He smiled, looking around again. He fished around for some kind of conversation to break the absolute silence. "..So, hows Grimm? He looked lovely in the arena." Horses usually made for good talk.

Kitty nodded and pulled down a second cup, shutting her cabinet. She glanced over her shoulder as he asked about Grimm, flashing a small smile. "He's good. Lovely as ever. How's Crow?" She returned, grabbing two teabags and popping one in each cup while she waited for her water to boil. She leaned lightly against her counter, her back against it while she faced him.

He looked up at her, glad to hear her horse was well. "He's doing well, restless. Haven't been out much lately." He admitted evenly. "Quite good to be back out and about." He smiled slightly. "When do you plan to leave for your event? You're still dressed up." He gestured mildly.

"I'm glad to hear it. Theres lots of adventures waiting for the lovely prince Ali here in France." Kitty smiled, looking down vaguely at her skirt and shrugging, then looking out the window. "Well, with you coming over, I was kind of planning on just... not going. But it isn't that big of a deal. It's just a little festival the town puts on, nothing special. I'm sure you're tired, so we can just stay here." She shrugged, glancing at her tea kettle blandly

He tilted his head slightly. "Why wouldn't you? I'm fine, if you want to go but not leave me be, I can go too. I like festivals." He smiled innocently, sitting and leaning forward in his seat slightly.

Kitty tilted her head at him slightly. "Alright then, fine. But you're not really dressed for a festival yourself." She smiled, gesturing to him. "And I'd rather change into something else as well." She shrugged, glancing at the tea kettle again.

He gasped quietly. Rolling his eyes. "I can be the life of the party without getting all fancy." He defended himself valiantly. "If you really do want to go I wouldn't mind even if I'm a liiiittle tired from your beating up on me earlier." He teased, leaning back, elbow on one armrest and arm over the back on the chair. Getting comfortable.
