Abby got up and made a sandwich for both herself and Darcy. Darcy gobbled hers down and Abby ate hers too.

Micah was about to teleport back when a younger angel approached him and said that someone wanted to speak to him. He nodded and teleported to where the angel had said the mystery person wanted to meet him. There he found a fallen angel who warned him about what would happen if he fully fell in love with a human and how to protect Abby.

Abby and Darcy talked for a while longer before Abby glanced outside "it's getting late... you should get to bed" Darcy nodded, hugged her and turned away. She walked into her room and closed the door. Abby walked into her room and got changed before plopping down in her bed. She closed her eyes and sat there for a minute "Dear God..." she stopped and took a deep breath "it's been a hot minute... and I hope your not mad at me for taking a little while... but I am in a pickle and really... like really need your help. I know you know what I need and what happening but I would like to get it off my chest. I have to move. For Micah's safety and my own sanity. I have to. It'll mean a lot of money on my part and also a lot of patience and faith that you will help me by opening the right doors. Lord, please give me the wisdom to see which doors those are... Thank you for this day and the wonderful Angel you have bestowed upon me. Amen" she sighed then mumbled under her breath "and let it be so" (did you know that's actually what the word "amen" means?) Abby laid back on her bed and put her hand out "Micah... if your there... even if you can't be seen, just take my hand. Please..." she closer her eyes again and held back her tears

Once finished with his meeting with the fallen angel Micah teleports back to the apartment. Seeing that no one was in the living room he heads to Abby's room and finds her there. He hears her ask him to take her hand and smiles softly, even though he was still invisible. He heads over to the bed and lays down beside Abby and takes her hand in his. After a moment he lifts it up a bit and gently kisses her hand.

Abby smiled when he lifted her hand to kiss it. She tried to imagine where his body would be and tried to lay next to him. She sighed then rolled over so her back was facing him. She didn't want him to see her cry...

He watches Abby silently as she turns towards him then turns away. Micah wraps his arms around her and pulls her against his body, giving her a comforting embrace.

She smiled slightly then closed her eyes. She sighed before slowly drifting off to sleep

Micah waited until Abby's breathing calmed, meaning that she was asleep, before falling asleep himself.

In the morning, the sun started shining through the windows but Abby didn't stir

As morning came Micah found himself visible and in his human form. 'Must have shifted while I was asleep,' he thinks as he sits up and yawns while stretching his arms.
