Regan smiled gently when he agreed to at least try with his father. She was happy to say the least... she didn't like the man at all, but Tyler had wanted to let him stay, so she didn't want him to be disappointed with his father, even if the man was plotting something. "Have you decided what you're going to do around here? I'm sure they'll be needing help with hunting or something." She then hummed lightly. - (This was kinda how I imagined Regan - I made it on Artbreeder so not amazing lmao

Yeah that's pretty much exactly how I imagined her lol. Great drawing!) - Tyler looked at her. "No... I haven't decided yet. I wish I could hunt solo, though. That would suit me better." Tyler chuckled, finishing his food. He glanced around again, seeming a little wary

Regan gently poked his side when she noticed him looking about wearily. "Well, why don't you ask? The guys that go out are pretty friendly. Not so... loud," she chuckled quietly. She hoped he was fine with everything. People started clearing out by now, so hummed and looked over to him. "Thank you for coming here with me... it's not your favourite place, I know that," she hummed softly. She was really very thankful... she couldn't imagine being here without him. "Why don't we do something fun... splash around in the river or something?" She proposed with a grin across her face.

Tyler looked at her. "I might just do that. Volunteer to go hunting alone so less guys have to. Good idea..." he chuckled, knowing that probably wasn't exactly what she was thinking. He glanced over at her. "That's fine... it is probably safer here, and I do enjoy being with you." He offered a smile, standing up. He was about to say something when she proposed swimming. He looked slightly suspicious, tipping his head and thinking about it. Finally he ran a hand through his hair... which was usually a good sign... and sighed. "Okay the . If you can find a river." He coughed, looking up at the sky. "Lead the way"

Regan nodded to him and gave a grin. "That suits you a lot more!" She chirped happily to him. "It'll help you make some friends, too," she told him with a bit of a smile. She looked a lot lighter when he said he enjoyed being around her. So, her efforts to befriend him weren't all null. Good... she did like spending time with him, too. Her face lit up when he said they could go mess around. They were on a hill... so as long as they went downhill they'd find a river somewhere, and so, off she bounced once she'd grabbed his hand to drag him around with her.

Tyler sighed, knowing this was probably a bad decision... but not caring. I mean, he could relax and spend time with pretty much the only person that actually cared about him as a friend. He followed Regan hurriedly, trying not to get behind... because if he did she would tug his arm out of his socket

Regan scampered down the hill, letting go of his hand as it got steeper, but soon the sound of rushing water came into earshot. She glanced back when he sighed, cocking her head a little bit. She was still very much a child at heart, so the prospect of messing around with her only friend as of then filled her with joy. "What's up?" She asked as she started see some of the water behind the trees, getting more giddy the closer they got... as long as they kept an eye out for rabid animals, they'd be safe. The rabid's didn't tend to come in the water, anyway. "You didn't have to come, I could have asked someone else," she then added gently. She did want to spend time with him, but if he'd rather not then that was fine.

Tyler ran behind her, hurrying to keep up. He slowed when they reached the water, looking at Regan. "The sky." He joked, glancing at the water. "Around the bend I'm sure it will be calmer." Tyler murmured, starting to walk that way. He listened to Regan's last comment. "Well I'm glad you asked me. I'm sure this will be fun." He offered a comforting smile, continuing to walk around the bend. Tyler had been right... there was a calm, deep pool right here

Regan groaned at him when he said his comment and moved to jab his side playfully. "You're not funny," she mused lightly, and despite her comment, she did laugh a little bit. She followed him around the bend before nodding. She just didn't want him to feel like he was being forced to hang out with her, because that would just drive him off. She nodded, though when she saw the pool that seemed to be a lot quieter, she grinned and scampered over to the water to flick a tiny bit up at Tyler. She then pouted when she found out it was warm... there must have been a spring or something underneath it, which would have certainly be nice.

Tyler chuckled. "Then why did you laugh?" He asked, a small smile on his face. Tyler held up his hand against the spray, wrinkling his nose. "It's very... warm. Then again, it is in the sun." Tyler commented, walking over to the water. He put his hand in, turning it slightly and watching the sun shimmer over it. Tyler then brought up a handful of water and sent it sloshing at Regan. "Got you back." He smirked
