Tyler mounted Rum slowly, getting ready. Today they would go back to the herd. He knew he could easily go all the way back without talking... but that seemed... off. He didn't even know anything about Estrella. Except She was the (niece?) to the owners of (insert ranch name (XD, forgot)). Tyler started walking Rum forward, rousing the cattle. "So... what is it like back at your house?" He asked slowly

Neice, yes, and Wild Hawk Ranch)) - She nudged Smokey to follow them. "With my aunt?" She asked,

Tyler shook his head slowly. "Back at... your house. Not the ranch. You are around a lot, but not always, and I know it isn't your real home... like not where- not what your parents own." Tyler said quietly. He silently groaned in his mind. -Great job, buddy. You have already made the conversation awkward... yay..- he thought, nudging Rum a little faster so he stayed a couple feet ahead of Estrella and Smokey.

She looked up at him, glaring slightly. "I do live there. The only reason I'm gone often is cause I have a job. And FYI, my parents are dead." She half snapped that last part.

-oh crap, fail- Tyler thought. His eyes widened slightly as he glanced at her. "Well- I'm very sorry- and I will stop talking how." He answered quickly, looking back forward. Sheesh... whenever he talked to ANYONE he always seemed to ruin it in some way. This is why Tyler tried to never talk. He obviously just made Estrella feel bad, and that was not what he was going for... darn it all.

"It's okay. You didn't know" She nudged Smokey into a Canter, staying beside the cattle. Why the hell did I tell him? I don't know him at all. She groaned. (If it's italic, she is thinking it, not saying it.))

(Okay, thanks) - Tyler closed his eyes a moment, staying silent. He cantered alongside the cattle and glanced... anywhere but at Estrella and Smokey. Boy he had fumbled that one big time. -Don't you live with your parents, NO my parents are dead idiot- he replayed it in his mind, wincing. He was so STUPID. Why ask about her personal life? -Come on Tyler...-

(Yup)) - She nudged Smokey a little faster, getting ahead of Tyler. She didn't want to be anywhere near him at the moment.

As Estrella sped Smokey p, Tyler slowed Rum down. He guessed the feeling they had at the moment was mutual. Tyler stayed perfectly silent, pretty much just thinking of how idiotic he was, and how bad he was at talking.

She slowed Smokey a little, keeping pace with the cattle.
