She nodded, silencing and fearful-- skittish almost |

A few crawled out of their tents, vanishing into a crowd of silver and red. Guards. They were raiding the camp. Gale paled, retreating further into the tent and untying the flaps so they covered both him and Kayla. |

She was silent, palming a few daggers as a deadly look glazed over her eyes. She was tired of this shit--of being the prey. She barely held herself back from launching at the guards out of pure rage |

"There's too many, you go out there it's basically a death sentence." He snarled under his breath, peeking through the slip. |

She scoffed at him, ig boring him as she thought about the best route to take out the most guards |

"Kayla," He snapped, already knowing the look on her face. "They're going to kill you. You can't win everything you come across, if I let you out there you're dead meat. Do you understand that?" |
