Sage heasitated for a moment, not entirely sure how to comfort her. He had all the same worries, really. "You won't," he noted firmly after a moment. "I won't let her break apart our family."

"But we don't know that, Sage..." she whispered, sniffling.

Sage pursed his lips slightly shaking his head. "We're going to stay together," he noted. "No matter what. I'll make sure of that."

"... you don't know what she'll do, Sage... if she catches you..."

Sage just shook his head. "She won't catch me," he noted. "I won't let her break this family apart."

Celeste just whimpered, burying her face in his shoulder.

Sage just hugged her tighter, nerves churning in his gut. He knew this would be dangerous.

Celeste clung onto him.

He held onto Celeste just as tightly, not wanting to let her go. He wished they could just have a peaceful life together ....that none of this was happening.
