Kai held her face in his hands, smiling softly. "If you're tired, sleep. But I do need to go take care of something real quick. I'll be right back, sweetheart." He said softly, kissing her nose and putting on sweatpants. He went down two flights of stairs and another, shorter flight before opening the door to his weapons den with a code. He sighed, breathing in the smell of gunpowder.

Lorelei smiled and nodded, "Love you," she murmured sleepily. She watched him go before slowly drifting off.

Kai sighed blissfully, grabbing his favorite pistol he'd built and pocketing it. Locking the door, he went upstairs and put it in his bedside table before gazing at Lorelei's sleeping face. "How'd I get so lucky with you?" He murmured aloud, kissing her temple and settling beside her before falling asleep

Lorelei instinctively curled up into Kais chest, hugging him close as she slept peacefully through the night.

"My sweet angel." He said softly, falling asleep with her in his arms

Lorelei slept soundly throughout the night.

Kai slept through the night silently.

Kai had the sun right in his eyes, making him mumble nonsense about nature always ruining things that were perfectly fine already. He smiled softly, noticing Lorelei beside him. He played with her hair, waiting and no longer caring about the sun

Lorelei woke up, rolling over towards him. "Hi, handsome," she murmured sleepily with a smile.

"Good morning, my beautiful baby" He purred softly, pecking her lips gently. "How'd you sleep?" He asked softly, stroking her face gently

Lorelei smiled. "Lovely," she hummed, "what about you,?"
