Trixie leaned gently against him, staring up at him somewhat sadly. She shrank slightly at his words, looking down at her feet. "Right." She said quietly, unsure of what else to say. She raised her head as he leaned into her hand and gave him a gentle, quick kiss. After he took a step back, she dropped her hands and mirrored the action, staring off at the horizon with a shrug. "Whatever is fine." She said softly.

"I'm sorry" Matt said softly, leaning back into her for the kiss very deeply. It had only been a couple days, yet it felt pretty much perfect to be kissing her the way he was. Or to be holding her the way he had been. He got into the car and waited for her to join him before carrying on speaking, putting a hand gently on her leg for a split second. "I don't mind you staying with me tonight, if you want?" He offered, starting the car and setting off from the beach car park, shielding his eyes briefly from the now lit-up floodlights.

"Don't be." Trixie shook her head, giving him a small smile. She leaned into his kiss, reciprocating it deeply and stepping into him slightly. As much as she wanted to be upset, it just felt so... right. She blinked as he pulled away, taking in a small breath before she walked around to get into the car. She leaned her leg into his hand slightly, reaching her hand up to grab his when he pulled away. She gently laid his hand on her thigh, looking up at him somewhat hopefully. She still wanted to be mad, but she wasn't nearly strong enough to turn down the offer of staying with him. "I'd love that." She said softly, giving him a small, warm smile.

"Really?" Matt asked with a slight smile, rubbing his thumb gently on her thigh. "I half expected you to say no" he added, pulling his hand away shortly after to place on the steering wheel. After some time they arrived back to his, and after he'd turned the car off he turned to Trixie, briefly rubbing sand off his legs. "Oh I forgot to mention, we don't actually have anything on the schedule tomorrow, so I might make you pick something else to do" he said with slight tease, giving her a playful smile. Anything to forget about the strange past conversation.

Trixie nodded, giving him a soft smile at the feeling of his thumb on her thigh. "Really. I like spending time with you, surprisingly." She teased. She was rather relaxed throughout the whole ride, and she looked over at his tease with an eye roll. "I don't like being decisive. I feel like you know that already." She said sarcastically.

Matt have Trixie a smile and shrugged sligjtly, though he nodded in agreement. "Me too" He said quietly. Those words felt strangely nice to hear, they were somehwat comforting. "I'm aware, but i'm running out of things to do" he added, pulling into the driveway shortly after he finished the sentence. As he managed to park the car he turned to Trixie, giving her a somewhat serious look. "I hope you know i really like you, Trixie" was all he said as he spoke, breaking his serious look with a warm smile.

Trixie blinked in surprise as he returned the compliment. "Good, because you aren't getting rid of me any time soon." She teased. "What, you don't wanna cuddle or something?" She asked sarcastically, moving to get out of the car when he spoke. "Well, I do now." She said softly, smiling brightly at him. "I really like you too." She said softly.

Matt narrowed his eyes and looked at Trixie with a small smile, openeing the car door and putting his leg out. "All I've gotta do is look at another girl and you're gone" He teased, promptly getting out the car after. As long as she took that as a joke, it was fine. He smiled at her last comment and headed inside, waiting for Trixie to follow before shutting the door. "seriously though what do you wanna do" he asked witha. slight drown, leaning against the counter.

"Shut up." Trixie chuckled, swatting at him as she got out. She followed him lightly inside and walked right over to his couch, plopping down and giving him a small doe eyed look. She held her arms out to him only half teasingly. "I wasn't really kidding when I suggested we cuddle. Unless you're against it?"

"I'm not against it, I just didn't think you were being serious" Matt smiled, giving Trixie a slight look of confusion as he twirled his rings round his fingers. "Anyway, you're gonna have to be left alone for a little while, im gonna shower" he said eventually, getting up from leaning against the counter, briefly moving a piece of loose paperwork out from under him, glancing at it quickly. It was from the memories building, listing every single thing that had happened that actually lead up to him being in a coma. He didnt think much of putting it away, insteas flashing Trixie a quick smile before starting off to the stairs.
