Kennedy had a huge wave of relief wash over her as the mask came off, immeadiately she pulled him into a hug. Even if she had looked fine earlier she was completely panicking. As he spoke she slowly released him from the hug "What about you? Your still recovering... You could get hurt even worse" She said with ehr voice full of worry

Caden hugs her close and said " I'll be okay I done this before I need you to go now Maddie is still in danger and I need to get her out " as he looks at her and then kisses her forehead and said " don't panic about me I am a man who is crazy in love with you and would protect you and my child "

Kennedy leaned into his hug not wanting to let him go but she knew Maddie needed to get out and that was way more important than anything. She looked up at him after he kissed her forehead before nodding her head slightly "Okay... Please be careful..." Kennedy said quietly, giving him a kiss on the cheek before dashing off to her jeep where a radio was.

Caden said " I'll always be careful " as he watches her go then put in the mask again and walks back in and said " she all tied up boss" the guy smiles and said " good " until caden saw Maddie on the ground beside the other and froze he didn't know what to do next and she was on the line now

Once Kennedy reached her car, she immeaditaley opened the door and hopped on the radio. She called in what was happening and requested for additional officers on sight. She always asked for EMT to be staged outside just in case anyone was hurt. As soon as she got that call out the dispatcher said that additional untis would be there in 10 minutes. -That's too fucking long...- She thought to herself, before going to the back of her jeep and openign a secret compartment where she kept a rifle at ready. Since her jeep was also her patrol car she always kept it there just in case. As soon as she got her rifle loaded she bolted back to the hospital and started scanning for open windows on the first floor since that's where everyhting was happenign

Caden watches them all before one said " shit the cops are on there way her let's get out of here" the third guy nods and the boss grabs Maddie and caden this time pulls out his gun and points it at them which they point it at him back and said " drop it the gun " caden said " put down my child"

Kennedy finally finds a window that was open but since the windows were a bit high up it was going to be hard with her height. She took a few steps back before running, jumping, and grabbing onto the window ceil where she pulled herself up onto the edge of it then crawled in through the window. Landing on the ground with a quiet thud, once she was stable she walked up to the door and peaked out it, seeing the scene of the boss having Maddie and having Caden at gun point. Kennedy sucked in a breathe at the sight before bringing her rifle up and aiming it at the boss. She had a perfect shot to where it wouldn't hit Maddie but it might hit another person... After a moment she decided it was a risked she would take, so she lined up her gun to his chest and fired off 5 rounds

Maddie screamed as Kennedy shots before caden turns and shots the guy on the stomach that was behind him before the third guy backs up before he rush forward and trys to get caden on to the ground but caden was a good fight and it was hard for him until the guy points the gun straight on caden head and he froze and back where Kennedy could see them but not the guys body only cadens

Kennedy immeaditaley brought her rifle down as soon as the boss dropped to the ground, not dead but he probably would be soon. She watched as Caden shot a guy then tussled with another one. When the fight seemed to stop she was about to walk out to Maddie to comfort her but stopped herself. Kennedy looked at Caden seeing that he looked almost frozen so she quietly opened the door, bringing the rifle back up so she was ready to fire. She slowly exited the room, aiming at the hall where Caden was looking. As soon as she saw a gun to Cadens hand she took a huge side step, finally being able to see the guy who had him at gun point. She didn't even care where she shot the guy but she started firing. She kept firing and tracked the man down to the ground making sure he was dead, before scanning the rest of the room for more people

Caden got out of the way then walk over and holds Maddie and said " shh is okay I got you is okay you are safe now " Maddie hugs him and keeps a hold of him tightly
