It's been that way for as long as I can remember and I don't think it should change. HEE needs people to purchase stuff for RL money because it is a business at the end of the day and needs to be able to pay for the server usage/space. Plus members wouldn't be able to sell upgrades then and make ebs themselves

I dont think I know of a single game that sells their "premium" content for something you can earn for free in game, there would be no way for the game to make money then and then it would shut down
