Camery got showered and changed into something a little more comfortable before making her way back to bed with a book in hand. She was exhausted. She couldn't say anything to Kai without upsetting him, and while she felt awful for it she still needed to get her point across. It wasn't his fault she wasn't feeling good, but it also wasn't up to him to make her feel better when all she needed was to relax. All she needed was a bit of comfort and time with him, and this would all fix itself eventually. When he came back in, she offered him a small smile and took the tray from him. Although, when he didn't even look at her, her brows just pinched together and she felt her stomach twist into knots. "Really? You're not gonna look at me?" She whispered worriedly

Kais lip quivered momentarily. He didn't dare look up at her. He kept his eyes down, trained on his hands. She was mad at him for sure...

Cam sighed and moved to put the tray to the side, sort of shifting to put her hand lightly on his chest. "Kai?" She asked in a whisper, trying to curl into his side.

Kais lip quivered again, and his looked to the side so his face was hidden. He was playing with his hands in his lap, curling his pinky around his own pinky, their little thing to reach out if he was going to have a panic attack. He didn't do it to her pinky though, he didn't want to bother her with it, it was just something that sort of comforted him when he was about to have a panic attack.

Camery looked up at him after a few moment, her mouth opening slightly as she tried to find... something to say. After a little while, she shifted to it up next to him, resting a hand gently on his cheek. "Kai," she repeated, a bit more worry lacing through her voice.

Kai just stayed quiet, lip quivering every now and then, eyes welling with tears, unable to meet her gaze.

Camery's eyes widened slightly, and she sort of shifted to sit up quickly. "Kai, babe, what's up," she asked quickly, her hand reaching for his and gently prying his fingers apart, lacing her own fingers through his, and her other hand moved to wrap her pinky finger through his. "Talk to me," She whispered.

"Its nothing..." he sniffled, a tear escaping his eye, which he quickly wiped away. "Its stupid... I'm fine..."

Camery gave him a look after a moment or two, her brows pinched softly together. "Malakai," she hummed, sort of pressing a gentle kiss to his nose. "Tell me what's up," she murmured.

"Its nothing," he muttered, letting go of her hands and rolling onto his side, back to her.
