Kai stayed by her side every minute he could. He knew she tried to keep him from worrying and fussing over her, but he did so anyway. He always held her hair back when her morning sickness hit, and held her when she cried, and always got whatever she was craving. Kai didn't like she was going away so much, but there wasn't much he could do about that. Nights when she was away were truly awful, but he had started seeing a therapist and started some medication to help with it, but it didn't really do much when she was away. He figured out how to control more of his powers, including his killing powers, which he discovered upon accidentally killing a bird with his powers. He cried about that that night. But overall, things were the same. He did rather like her baby bump though, even though she didn't all the time.

Camery had spent most of her days waddling around the castle, her mind wandering from her as she went on. She didn't have much control of it, but she didn't seem to mind. Her thoughts were light... the baby. Names, their room, their future. As much as she hated the bump getting in her way, the morning sickness, or just how... gross she felt, she was excited for it all. Kai had been brilliant for her, getting her whatever she wanted, even if she'd tried to convince him he didn't have to. She did feel bad about it. She didn't want to be looked after in that way, like she couldn't do anything alone. She felt useless enough as it was, but she was also pretty grateful for it. It was his way of saying he loved her, she supposed. She was doing what she'd done none stop over the last few weeks, waddling around the castle just to eventually find her way back to her room, flopping down on the bed with a heavy breath.

Kai entered the bedroom a little bit later, flopping down next to her after an exhausting day of paperwork. He turned to her with a sleepy smile. "How are you, darling?" He asked softly.

Camery looked over at him with a tired smile after a moment, and blew out a gentle breath. "I'm... alright," she breathed, a hand on her stomach. "I take it you've been busy, hey babe?" She mused lightlyto him.

Kai nodded, "Quite," he sighed. He settled a gentle hand on her bump with a smile. "Hows the baby?"

Camery looked down as his hand landed on her stomach, and she sort of just gave a grumble of complaint before sitting up quietly. She sort of stared at her stomach for a moment before taking his hand and pressing it firmly into the side of her belly as she felt their baby shift. "Excitable," she breathed lightly.

Kai smiled, feeling their baby move around in her belly. "How much longer until we get to meet them?"

Camery looked back at him after a moment, sort of shifting into a kind of awkward looking position to get comfortable. "At few weeks left," she grumbled, pouting over at him. "Too long, if you ask me," she mumbled.

Kai gave her a soft look, getting comfortable next to her. "Hey, i love the bump," he mused. "You look gorgeous with it,"

Cam rested her head on his shoulder, but not before shaking her head slightly. "I feel disgusting," she breathed softly, her brows pinching together.
