Axel just nodded in response to Duncan's comment, letting out a sort of a sigh. "I know," he noted. "But I also know he does have a kingdom to care for, Duncan," he noted. "He's going to need to do this so that people aren't scared. So people don't try to hurt us because of me. So they don't try to hurt him." That was the last thing any of them would want.

Duncan nodded, "I know, but it'll all be okay. The kingdom just has to forget about the whole incident and then we can introduce you to everyone as my boyfriend," he smiled. "Make it a whole sob story for the kingdom to enjoy. A abused ex-soldier who turned himself in and fell in love with the prince. They'll love you," he chuckled lightly, tucking his head into Axels chest.

Axel just pulled back enough to look at Duncan as he spoke, sighing after a moment and nodding. "Hopefully that works," he murmured. "I mean....I'm a hybrid, and worse than just a normal soldier," he added, brows pinching together. But when he curled in, a faint smile formed on his face and he moved to curl in, tucking his chin over Duncan's head."I'm just glad you're here," he noted after a moment or so.

"Well, the public doesn't know you're worse than a normal soldier," he noted. Duncan closed his eyes, cuddling in. "Me too," he hummed lightly. Suddenly, Kai burst in. "I knew it! What the fuck, Duncan?! You know the rules!" Kai yelled. Duncan bolted upright. "Kai, please, I can't sleep without him," Duncan protested. Kai glared at them. "Dinner, now," he demanded. Duncan sighed and nodded. He gave Axel a sympathetic look and followed Kai out. Duncan and Kai discussed the matter over dinner before Duncan came running back upstairs to Axels room, flinging the door open and practically tackling Axel out of happiness.

Axel nodded slowly, glad for that detail at least. "That will make things easier," he noted. When kai burst in though, he nearly jumped out of his skin, stiffening out of habit. When he told Duncan to leave though, he released his boyfriend, giving him a soft smile. "Go on," he noted, though his smile dropped as soon as the door closed behind them. His own dinner was left on the table again, though when Duncan ran back in and nearly knocked him over with a hug, he was surprised to say the least. "Woah woah woah," he noted with a small laugh. "What....what's going on," he added, admittedly very confused.

Duncan grinned, ear to ear. "Kai said I can stay with you!" he squealed, obviously very happy about it all.

Axel grinned back at Duncan when he told him the news, squeezing him slightly with a laugh. "Good," he noted lightly. "Wouldn't you be mroe comfortable in your own room though," he asked, not wanting him to be uncomfortable or anything.

"Well, he said I could sleep with you and visit you whenever I want, but we're not allowed to move in together yet,"Duncan explained.

Axel nodded slowly in understanding, a grin forming on his face. "Well, you know I like it whenever you're around," he noted. He would enjoy any time with Duncan he could have.

Duncan grinned, "Can we go cuddle?"
