Sage could tell when the anesthetics took hold because Remy calmed down. It would still ache, but not bad at all. He knew where the bullet was, and also knew that would be the hardest part for Remy, so when he closed his eyes to take a deep breath, sage just yanked it out quickly to get it over with. Remy wouldn't feel the needle after that so doing it quick was best.

Remy cried out in pain, pinching his eyes shut.

Sage apologized quickly, attempting to hold his tail still, but it was a lot bigger than him so it wasn't very effective. He did manage to get Remy all stitched up though, and then sit back, hands trembling. He gave himself a moment to breathe but he could feel himself getting dizzy from blood loss so he forced himself to grab a new needle and bit of thread and work at stitching himself up. He could get most of it, but couldn't reach the one on his back and looked at Remy with a sigh. "Think you can get my shoulder," he asked dully, gesturing to the cut on his left shoulder blade

Remy was still aching and groaning in pain, but he nodded, taking the needle and thread, stitching him back up.

Sage held still while Remy worked, playing with his lip ring in an attempt to keep from biting his lip. He let out a heavy breath once he was done, moving to help Remy up and together they limped over to the bed and pretty much collapsed onto it, exhausted

Remy collapsed onto the bed, curling up with him, burying his face in Sages chest, still in a lot of pain.

Sage just wrapped his arms around Remy, pretty much just passing out right away

Sage was out cold the rest of the day and all through the night.
