Nathan Croft - Nate's week went by slow. He still felt bad about pushing her away, and it was really weighing on him and affecting him. School started, he was really off. He was already failing his first few assignments. The weekend after school started, he packed up his truck and trailered Jackie down to the nearest rodeo. When he got there, he got ready and warmed up for his first event.

Dakota noticed Nate at the rodeo as she competed, but didn't go and talk to him. She just got third in barrels and didn't compete in poles for fear of failing again. She packed up and went home

Nathan Croft - Nate saw Dakota but didn't talk to her. He was still just angry with the world. He placed badly, 12th in broncs and 18th in roping. Nate packed up his stuff and went home.

Dakota thought about texting Nate as she unloaded and fed Secret. She went back and forth in her head, hoping he wasn't angry at her and also wondering if he thought she was annoying. She decided to not text him in fear he would become angrier. She thought about dinner, but didn't make any. She walked inside and laid on her bed, turning on a movie

Nathan Croft - Nate unpacked his things and put Jackie back into her stall. From there, he flopped onto the bed and just sulked. He wanted Dakota back, but he wanted the Dakota that he thought she was, the girl who didn't see him like everyone else saw him. Nate didn't eat, sleep, or shower that night. He was a mess.
