Sage narrowed his eyes when he noticed an angel stride through the portal, sliding around and trying to peer inside. He couldn't see much at all ... actually he could t see anything other than white light, which really just hurt his head. He had backed away from the light quickly, though paused when he heard Adrien's voice. So he was in there....wherever there was. He cast a spell quickly, hiding the portal from the angels and turning it into something he could more easily pass through. The portal turned dark, black smoke billowing around in a circle, red lightning flickering through it. It would look scary to anyone who wasn't used to it, but of course sage knew exactly what his portals looked like ...though as mad as he was right now, it was probably rather excessive. But he wanted Adrien back, and he wanted him back now. So, he moved to stride through the portal, rather pissed at....well, everyone except Adrien by then. The portal wouldn't stay this way for long, and it was racing on his energy. Well, heaven in general was really hard for him....but he figured it was worth it to get to Adrien.

Adrien stayed curled on the ground, he hadn't noticed the portal stayed and turned black. He was mostly just trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his back. He whimpered quietly, he hated seeming weak... but his body hurt.... like really bad. He bit down on his tongue, trying to stop any more sounds of pain from escaping his lips. He closed his eyes tiredly, but he wouldn't sleep, not with the pain radiating through him. He thought of Sage... he hoped he was doing alright.

Sage strode through the portal quickly, looking around through squinted eyes before moving to turn around, where he noticed Adrien. His eyes widened despite the light, though that sort of gave him a migraine, so he squinted them again soon after that, walking over to where Adrien was at. He bit his lip when he looked over the other boy, kneeling down beside him and putting his hand lightly on his shoulder. "can you walk," he asked gently.

Adrien flinched at the touch of someone and looked up, eyes adjusting to the darker figure as he shoved himself up to sitting and curled into Sage's arms. "I don't know..." He said weakly. He didn't want to get all of his blood on Sage. But he really needed to be held... He was so tired... and his whole back and body hurt... he avoided looking at the curled-up wing on the other side of the room. They had left it in the room... for him to see... he hadn't looked at it. But he knew it was there. One attached to his body, the other not...

Sage frowned slightly in response to Adrien's comment, nodding and biting his lip as he thought of what to do. "If I get a portal in here do you think you can get to it," he asked, figuring he could make it as close to them as possible, and open it up to his house so he just ahd to crawl out and onto his couch. "I don't know how long we have before someone comes in here and I can't fight likr this,"

Adrien mumbled and closed his eyes. He just wanted to sleep... "I can try..." He murmured weakly, through gritted, pained teeth. He sat up slightly and winced, since the wound on his back had reopened. "Fuck..." He muttered, squeezing an eye shut. "Can we go...?" He asked quietly, clinging to Sage like his life depended on it.

Sage nodded with a sigh, helping Adrien up with a grunt, the strain of holding the much larger boy up and opening a portal being much more than he should be doing, especially in heaven. But they needed out, so he did it anyway, gritting his teeth as the sweat beaded on his face. They tumbled through the portal just before he lost control and it closed, and he lay on the couch with Adrien gasping for air for a moment, trying to catch his breath before forcing himself up to try and help Adrien with his wounds, anger flaring in his chest again at all the angels.

Once they got through the portal, Adrien curled up into a small ball on the ground. Fuck... he was so tired... he closed his eyes, his breathing labored from the pain all along his back and most of his body. His ribs hurt a whole lot to. So that could be why he was struggling to breath. He still had the cuffs around his wrists and the clamp around his remaining wing...

Sage had moved to clean up the wounds along Adrien's body, trying his best not to make them hurt more than he needed to. He handed the other boy a bottle of water and some pain killers too, knowing that would help. When he tried to grab the band around Adrien's wing, though, he jumped back with a yell of pain himself, staring at his now very burnt hand. He muttered a curse towards the angels and their 'foul burning magic', as he more or less put it, before moving back in much more cautiously, working at it until it fell off of Adrien, as did the cuffs soon after.

Adrien had barely enough energy to try and take the pain killer, but he couldn't. He was just trying to stay conscious at this point. He pushed the water and pain killers aside and winced as Sage jumped back with a yelp. "Sorry..." He said quietly. But one the bands were off he wrapped his remaining wing around his body and slumped into Sage. He was to tired to do anything... and his body hurt to much...
