"I don't know, its just what I imagine you saying in your head. Or, when you look in the mirror and do finger guns at yourself. I definitely see you doing both of those." Mercy teased. She chuckled at Rex's willingness, promptly going into dog mode. Which entailed a rather large amount of baby talking, kisses, fluffing of dog hair, and belly rubs. She switched back to her normal voice to answer him, continuing to give Rex a belly rub. "Well, that's fine with me. As long as get to hang out with this handsome boy." She smiled, turning back to Rex.

Ajax looked at her with raised eyebrows. "There is an enormous amount of things wrong with that. 1) You can even start to imagine me looking at myself and making finger guns? 2) You can imagine me looking in a MIRROR, period? 3) If you see me doing ANY of that in your head... you need NEED to go to a mental hospital. A conselor. A therapist. Something. 4) AND I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY." Ajax listed out the reasons very plainly, sounding exasperated on the last one. Rex thumped his big tail on the ground happily, visibly melting with a happy whine. He waved his paws in the air and looked at Mercy with his big eyes... upside down. "THAT handsome boy?" Ajax repeated with a whole lot more ... a lot of ... a much more interesting voice. Like, much more of a squeak than a voice.

Mercy smiled as he got himself worked up. "Well, number 3 is probably right, if I'm honest. And 4, you think you're crazy because you are. And I am too. Just a little bit though. 1 and 2 are just you lying to cover up your inner finger guns." She teased, looking back down at Rex and making the equivalent of an "awe" face. She continued absolutely adoring Rex, looking about as in love with him as she could be. She looked up at Ajax's little squeak, raising her eyebrows as her smile turned more into a smirk. "What?" She chuckled. "Are you jealous of your dog because I called HIM handsome, and not you?" She teased.

"I agree we both are crazy, but I am NOT lying I do NOT lie." Ajax half growled on the last part, but his twinkling eyes showed he meant no harm. Rex placed his front-right paw on Mercy's arm, making puppy eyes and scooting a little closer to her. Ajax watched the dog with a snort, running a hand through his hair. "That dog has NEVER been this social." He mumbled to himself, then his gaze snapped into a glare as Mercy spoke. "Excuse me ma'am, I take great offense in that." he commented indignantly. "I am NOT jealous, and Rex is quite handsome... I... agree."

Mercy gave Ajax a playful look, gently leaning back over Rex and continuing her puppy treatment. "Awh, well, at least you got something right." She smiled, watching him. "If it makes you feel any better, I think you're very handsome too." She added, sounding quite genuine, if a little teasing. She laid down on her side with Rex and went back to giving him attention, burying her head in his fur with a happy sigh.

"At least?" Ajax grumbled, but he didn't add anything more on the matter. He just put an elbow on the ground and tried not to completely collapse, resting... hopefully. "I- Eh- hey- Why- grr-" Ajax sputtered at Mercy's second comment, glowering slightly. He decided not to speak again for the moment after that, letting out a slow breath and looking at the dog. Rex was, quite obviously, in dog heaven. The big dog patted his tail gently on the ground and nuzzled his head into Mercy's neck, looking content.

"Wow, Ajax speechless. Never thought I'd see the day. And all I have to do is compliment you." She teased, letting out a quiet, high pitched, excited squeal as Rex nuzzled into her. "Ajax. I am in love with your dog. He is mine now." She said teasingly, her words muffled by Rex's fur.

Ajax let out a muffled grumble, giving up on trying to prop himself up and sinking down on his back. Yeah... there was no way he was moving, whether he wanted to or not. Rex's ears popped forward as Mercy squealed, and he let out a yip, snuggling into her. He was almost as long as her, and probably weighed more, but the dog still acted like a teddy bear instead of a bear. "Well I'm glad you are in love with Rex, it looks like he feels the same way for you." Ajax commented, holding back a laugh/snort at the scene before him. Rex had NEVER been that cuddly.

"WHERE THE FLIPPING BLEEP IS HE HE'S NOT HERE WHERE DID HE GO WAS HE STUPID ENOUGH TO FLY WHERE... FLIP... IS HE ... BLEEEPING BLEEP BLEEP ROOSTER WHERE IS HE WHY ISNT HE HERE OR ANYWHERE WE HAVE LOOKED ARGHHHHH" Goose screamed his head off and pretty much had a fit, running in circles to keep up with his brain which wasn't working either.

Rooster stood there, trembling slightly. Where did Ajax go... why is he gone... this is bad." He muttered under his breath, his eyes glinting angrily.

She giggled, wrapping her arms around the dog and popping a kiss on his nose before she looked back at Ajax. "Maybe you should have cuddle sessions with him more often. It'd make you less grumpy." She teased. She had originally planned to leave a note for Goose and Rooster so they didn't freak out but... she got distracted. And since everything was a bit out of sight out of mind right now, she wasn't bothered.

"I pet him!" Ajax retorted, but he knew that wasn't the best retort. "Hey- I'm not that grumpy." He complained meekly, but really couldn't think up much more. His brain wanted to go into sleep mode. Rex wriggled a little bit before licking Mercy's face, his tongue lolling out of his mouth like he was grinning. Ajax studied the dog for a moment before sighing. "He has never acted like this before, I never knew he needed that much attention." Ajax snorted, smiling slightly whether he wanted to or not.
