(Thanks me too) After savouring the amazin view and the crisp air, Sam and Nero turned around and bean walking back slowly. Sam took in the bluebirds flying from branch to branch, the butterflies flitting lazily between flowers and trees. By the time they got back to the yard Sam had a peaceful smile on his face and Nro was happy and relaxed.

Ellie was far too focused on her mare when Sam got back, but gave him a small smile before going back to focusing on her dapple mare for a another half hour before getting off and switching her for Astra.

Sam smiled happily back, taking Nero to the crossties and untacking him. Nero enjoyed himself as his owner splashed his back and legs with cool water from the hosepipe nearby. Sam hummed lightly as he worked, finally turning out a cool and happy Nero into the lush paddock nearest them.

Ellie paused half way through her little pole binding session with Astra, she watched Sam for a moment or two before walking Astra to the fence. "Enjoying yourself there?" She teased Sam with a chuckle.

"yeah it was great." Sam said, puttin the hosepipe back in place and doin a quick tidyin sweep of the yard, picking up stray grooming kits, buckets and banana peels. "i'm off to have a shower." he said lightly, walking off to his accomodation and getting into a refeshing, cool shower to get rid of any dust and dirt he had accumulated on his hack.

"Ok, but just don't be long! The yard manager was thinking of coming later, and I don't want to face her wrath alone-" She said, her voice slightly forced. She had never liked the yard manager, purely because of the reason she picked on everything she did, and was sure she would be mad that she had even said yes to Ruins surgery.

Sam finished his lovely shower, dressing in some cleaner yard clothing. "i'm back." He said, walkingover to Ellie and waving slightly. "so whats your thing with the yard manager then?" he asked, curous as to why Ellie seemed a little scared of the woman who owned and ran the equine centre.

Ellie finished her ride swiftly, hosing and brushing her gelding down before turning him back out. Once Sam came back, she offered a small smile before going to sit on the fence. She looked a little confused at his question before her smile faded slightly. "She's a very... Demanding woman. Scary almost. And it doesn't help that I don't like her very much, vice versa." She shrugged.

Sam hopped up onto the fence next to her. "hm. can't wait to meet her then." he said sarcasticly, smiling a little. he heard footsteps approaching fom the other side of the yard and nudged ellie slightly, nodding in their direction. judging by how llie had depicted her, sam wasnt feling very happy about meeting her.

"I'm sure you'll love her!" She said, rolling her eyes before watching her legs swing from the fence nervously. The only reason she had chosen to stay here was because of how close it was to her home, and the fact they had accommodation for when she needed it, but in the first few weeks of working and owning a horse here- while juggling school- she really wanted to move her horses, purely because of the manager. Picking up on every thing she did wrong, whether that was with her own horses, or while working with the school horses, there was always something. She jumped off of the fence, like she was a little expecting to be told off for something as little as that.
